Drizzlecloud’s heart pounded harshly against her chest as she sifted her way through the patrol of her clanmates, injured and exhausted–but victorious all the same in the task that they had been given. Despite that, the blue-grey molly expressed not an ounce of pride, instead she only exhibited something along the lines of anxiety.

“Bumblestar,” She croaked once she drew closer, her footsteps suddenly picking up to arrive by her leader’s side.

The fight was over. RiverClan was gone, and would hopefully remain so until their due date came back around. It would be a long time before Bumblestar was ever glad to see another fish at the border. She'd miss ripping them up in battle, though, that was for certain. It was satisfying to know more than one had fallen to her claws over the moons.

From her place at the front of the patrol, she glanced back to see Drizzlecloud at the sound of the medicine cat's ragged voice. A quick once-over confirmed what she had been hoping - uninjured, barely a whisker out of place, she wouldn't have to exile her Clanmates tonight - and she overed Drizzlecloud a flick of her ear in greeting. "You need somethin'?"
