Batstorm was bored, it was a boring day anyways. He orange gaze landed on an apprentice in the clearing and walked over to her. "Hey, let's go out and do some battle training. You look bored out of your mind." The black-furred warrior left no time for an answer as he started to walk towards the exit of the Shadowclan camp.

A low sigh escaped her. Her mentor had vanished, and she hadn't even had a proper training session. She had tried when the Clan had done some event for it, but she had been unhappy with the cat who offered to teach her how to kill other cats...

She was only seven moons old. How was she supposed to do that? And why?

The moss-ball laying beside her got a lazy look, but then she heard a voice speak, and her pale green eyes stretched wide. "Battle training? Really!?" Oh! He was already heading away. Scrambling to her paws, Chipmunkpaw raced after him, eyes shining with excitement.

Batstorm led Chipmunkpaw to his favorite training spot as they walked through Shadowclan's territory. Well, she was running, he was walking. His muscles rippled as they kept on. The sun was shining through the trees. It was early morning.

The grass glistened in the sunlight from the morning dew on it. Though, that didn't matter. As the pair finally reached Batstorm's favorite spot, he stopped.
