[Snowy the Ghost]

Welp. I'm going to try this here we go! More landmarks will be
added eventually!

A maximum of 2 cats are allowed per person!

Next sweep is March 13, 2024!

Minimum of 2 posts per week. Character sweeps will happen every 2 weeks! If you're not active, you're character WILL be removed from the allegiances and you will NOT be able to use them in posts.

Please, when you post, put your cat's name, as well as where you are in the clan, like in the camp, territory(and what part of it) ect.

Subscribe to #desertclan for updates and such! I will use it for things like meetings and whatnot.

 

A large, spacious cavern where the clan resides most of the time. There are several spin-off tunnels that lead in almost all directions.

 

A small and narrow tunnel that leads up to the surface. It gets very hot when you reach the end of it.

 

A small, hallowed out den near the entrance of the camp with one nest inside. This is where Duststar spends most of her time.

 

A fairly large den with several nests inside. Sand covers the floor.

 

A decently sized den with soft nests.

 

A small den where the queens and kits reside.

 

A large den with a small stream running through it. It smells like herbs in here.

 

This is where the clan meetings take place, the Stonetumble was presumably created from a distant cave in.

 

A little bit of a walk through winding tunnels, you will find an underground stream. It seems calm, but with heavy rainfall, it poses a severe risk of flooding.

Territory

DesertClan makes it's home in Death Valley, California. Vast open deserts, with little to no resources, the climate is harsh. With scorching temperatures in the day, and brisk temperatures at night, only DesertClan can survive here. These cats ventured off from Maine long ago, and ended up here, in Death Valley. Over generations, they adapted from Maine's cold temperatures, to California's hot temperatures.

Vast spaces of sand and cacti. Nothing much is really out here

 

A very large rock coming out of the ground, from the ground, it looks like it reaches the sky. This is where the Clan gathers during the Full Moon.

 

A small pool, where the healers of the clan gather to share with StarClan (different from the main roleplay StarClan). Meetings happen every half moon.

 

Distant mountains on the edge of DesertClan territory. These peaks climb high into the sky.

 

A valley with stones that mysteriously move on their own. No one knows why or how they move, but often find tracks in the sand behind a stone. A stone could be one place one day, then another the next.

 

An extremely large hole in the ground at the edge of the territory. Paw's are strictly forbidden to go anywhere near the pit, as there is a high risk of death if you fall in. Some kittypets in the area call it a "Crater"

 

A large, flat area where small white crystals cover the ground. For whatever reason, and why would you do this . . if you try to lick the crystals, they taste extremely bad and dry out your mouth.
