There's dried blood on my fur [P]

Mimic was bored. He hadn't seen a cat in a few days. He started licking off the dry blood from his fur. It was from his latest victim. He was waiting to come across another cat and do his normal routine. Lure and then kill. That's what he did. He did this because he was betrayed by his loved ones. His own family. He sensed another cat. His eyes darted, looking for it. "Come out. I can give you shelter and food." @Scary_Sage

Shadypaw stormed through the forest, outside of clan territory. He was lost, couldn't find his way back. A tear rolled down his face. Why had no one listened to him? Look what happened now!

Shadypaw perked his ears. Was that another cat? His hopes lifted, and he pawed the tears from his face. Who's there? He moved towards the voice, his fur bristling.

Shadypaw nodded, trembling. My mentor's taught me to hunt. Sadness glistened in his eyes. I was so close to being a warrior. He padded over to Mimic. I'm Shadypaw. He shivered, his fur freezing. Pressing against this cat for warmth, he added, I don't smell any prey. You?
