hello hello everyone!! surprisingly, this isn't a finder for a new character ..it's a finder for quillpaw! shcs favorite prickly cat.

to keep this relatively short and to the point, I'm looking for a best friend for him because : 1. he has..no friends except for his siblings (or, the ones that are alive) and his grandma, and 2. yummy angst! there's not a lot of requirements other than I would prefer this cat to be around his age (hes 9 moons..maybe almost 10,,), and they must be shadowclan. he's very prickly and it might be hard to become his friend simply because he's just mean and thinks a lot of cats just bring shc down. so it'll probably be a slow burn friendship.

for the angst part, I'll clarify! quillpaw, at some point, will die in his adulthood – so not anytime soon, luckily, but I think his bestie watching his rise and downfall would provide for some good drama. his downfall will be his death and he'll go through some personality changes throughout it all,,hence the title name ueue

Pale is a bit younger and is just about to be apprenticed (6 moons) within the next announcements. I do think it would be cute for Pale to follow Quill around like a role model at first and interrupt the quiet life Quill is used to. Maybe even bring something new to his life that he isn't used to. Not only is Pale outgoing, he's a very warm individual with a strong sense for knowledge despite being a slow learner. Pale could be a good counter for Quill's prickly personality, and he easily find reasons to see the best in others.

possible friendship direction!

In the start, the friendship (if you would even call it that at this point) is really one sided with Pale being just curious why this cat was acting prickly when he had done nothing wrong. Curiosity leads to appreciation, respect and, eventually, Pale decided... Quill will become his new friend! It could take forever and multiple interactions for Quill to accept him, but Pale is a very committed cat.

As friends, they could hang out often (or just Pale chasing after Quill), talking about ambitions, news, random things and take this time to explore whatever wilderness ShadowClan could offer. Pale would learn more about Quill and do whatever he can for Quill to reciprocate his friendship. He'll even spend hours and do his best to find birds as a gift, be it feathers or actual prey.

Pale would support Quill in whatever he chooses to do in the future and try to understand his actions. However, he would feel really lost when the cat he knew isn't the cat he's seeing. And as for the angst, Pale would be really devastated when Quill's gone, unable to eat, sleep, and will be constantly thinking of what he could've done differently so Quill could still be there. :'0

Pale is also destined for a short life due to cancer in his adulthood, but if he's chosen, that event will happen after Quill's downfall.

SILENTPAW

Silentpaw, much like his name, is silent, and never speaks unless he finds it necessary to do so. Because of this, he does not like socialising, or speaking in general. And ALSO because of this, he tends to be a very independent cat and prefers working alone instead of in a group.
He is extremely good at masking or hiding his emotions, as he finds showing emotions a kind of "weird" thing. And since he struggles at expressing his emotions, or rather, willingly does not express emotions, it gets difficult to read him, or understand what he is feeling.
He almost only openly expresses his emotions and thoughts to cats closest to him.

Silentpaw is very responsible and reliable for his fairly young age, always carrying out tasks he is told to do no matter how much he despises doing it. He also tends to pay close attention to details, remembering the smallest of things even after some time has passed. This makes him somewhat reliable as a witness.
Silentpaw can be harsh and mean to other cats, often showing distaste towards others and harshly complaining or chastising if he finds their behaviour unfair or displeasing. He also tends to be very pessimistic, never seeing the bright side of things and immediately assuming everything will go bad. However with a little convincing, he can be encouraged slightly.


I don't have anything angsty planned for Silentpaw so Quillpaw's eventual death would be the perfect plot :> And I'm also planning on being REALLY active with Silentpaw, if you're looking for an active character, here he is : D

I also think, because Quillpaw and Silentpaw are both very,,, prickly,,, I believe it would be a very slow-burn, friendship, both having to have to warm up to each other. They can start off my constantly jabbing at each other that eventually turns playful? That's my idea, might have more soon and MIGHT update this when I do ^^

after some consideration (and me forgetting about this for a second,,sweats LOL), I've decided to choose @goodacacia's palepaw! I'm a sucker for opposites when it comes to dynamics, and them both being doomed in a sense is beautifully tragic. I'm up for an interaction between the two anytime!
