LEOPARDPAW’S TRAINING
Here is all the requirements and details of Leopardpaw’s training.

Mentor: @/constellation

Apprentice: @/IDIOTICBEAN101

Apprentices need at least five instances of training experience that include the company of a warrior. The warrior does not have to be their mentor.

These experiences must include:

Territory Tour:
Sedgewater Valley
Thunderglade
Whispering Wetlands

1 land hunting lesson (/1)
1 battle training session (0/1)
100+ roleplay posts with apprentice (~16/100)

- Existed at least 2 months IRL?
- 10 moons or older?
- At least 2 Clan meetings attended/reacted? (1/2)

~ Leopardpaw apprentice ceremony

For the remaining two required training instances, please pick two options from this list:

Night hunting (0/1)
Tracking/stalking (0/1)
Advanced land combat (1/1)
Tunnel navigation (0/1)
Basic first aid (0/1)

Participation in battles, Clanwide-plots, or similar events may count as training instances for your apprentice. Please contact the Clan leader for more information on whether a specific plot or event can count for training.

Apprentices are required to complete a final assessment once they have met the minimum training experiences. The final assessment should consist of fishing, land hunting, battle training, and swimming testing, to ensure their skills are satisfactory.

These are the requirements I copied for easy tracking. If you have anything to fill out that I'm not aware of or tagged in (i.e. previous or current training with another mentor, participation in an event) please let me know so I can add it here!

Crowbreeze padded out of the Warriors’ den with a groan. His scratches ached with a powerful, deep pain, but he shoved this deep down, making himself swallow the fierce feeling and keep going. He looked around the lightening clearing. He was one of the first cats awake. Again. Crow yawned, relishing in the morning sunshi—“Ow!” the scratch at the base of his neck protested. That was going to drive him crazy.

Crow May as well train his apprentice. It’d been quite a but since she’d been assigned to him, and Crow felt he was letting Leopardpaw down. He padded deliberately towards the apprentices’ den, and poked his head inside. “Leopardpaw! Let’s get after it, eh?” he meowed in the general direction of her nest. Once he was sure she was up, Crow padded to the camp entrance to wait for the young she-cat.

Leopardpaw, excitedly as usual, followed after Crowbreeze.
She then noticed his injuries, looking up and down at them.
Hmmmmm.
Well, they still won, and now her mentor would have really cool battle scars.
But, they were still fresh.
"Are you, ah, sure we should be training?" She asked as she then used her paw to gesture to his injuries.
Obviously she wanted to train, but her mentor didn't seem to be in the best condition at the moment.

Crowbreeze turned, a sad smile across his face. “Ah. Leopardpaw. I’m fine to tour the territory with you.” he purred. “Plus, I’ll make sure to see Lightningstorm right afterwards.” he turned back and padded out of the WindClan camp.

Wind splashed across his face as Crow padded across the soft peat of the moor. He’d not said much to his apprentice so far, no words were needed, really. The breezy plains of his home were scenery enough, he figured. Maybe I should talk… would a mentor talk? his memories of his own apprenticeship were very hazy. He could barely remember his good times as an apprentice.. but the bad ones were still clear as water. Badgersnap had been harsh with him…

Memory shards shot through his head… ”Faster! What are you? A lazy ThunderClan cat?” Crowpaw ran fast— his legs aching with a deep, hollow pain. He was so tired! That thought swished away and— A huge bird stood just a few feet away… Crowpaw was filled with excitement. If he caught this? Badgersnap would… maybe like him. Crowbreeze grimaced—trying to send the stubborn thoughts away.

Crowbreeze’s paws began to dig into softer ground—and his feet squished into marshy grass. The Whispering Wetlands. The ShadowClan border. Crow stared across—careful to make sure no hostile cats stood near the scent line. “Come, Leopardpaw. This is one of our borders. Can you guess which Clan lives across it?” That’s definitely something a good mentor would say.

Leopardpaw eagerly followed Crowbreeze outside of camp.
She kept gazing around the moor in awe.
It was so huge!

She noticed her mentor was silent for a long time, until she felt mud under paws.
Ew.

Oh, it was a border!
Which clan?
She could figure that out!

Leopardpaw gave a few sniffs, trying to decipher the bordering scent.
"It smells... muddy..." She muttered as she spoke "And like... frogs?"
She had only seen frogs in camp once when it had been raining.
Wait, frogs!
"ShadowClan!" She suddenly said, much more loudly "They eat frogs!"
She had to be right!

Crowbreeze’s eyes widened and he let out a surprised purr. “Yes! Very good!” He’s not expected her to get that so fast. “So our relationships with ShadowClan are good… sort of. I’m not that up to date, as I’ve been holed up in camp for a few days, but before the raid we were fine. The occasional border skirmish, the usual.” He padded closer to the scent line. “You mark here, and never cross, that’s breaking the Warrior code.” he demonstrated how to mark the border. “Let’s move on to the next border.” he said softly, and padded up the slope, glad to get away from the marshy ground.

Leopardpaw listened carefully to what Crowbreeze had to say, despite her constant excited twitching because she got it right.

Decent relationships with ShadowClan, but she obviously shouldn’t be stupid and cross the border.
Got it.

When Crowbreeze said they were moving on, honestly she was glad.
The mud was way too icky for her paws.

She continued to follow him, an excited bounce in her steps that was bound to scare off any prey.
