The young molly's ears perked up as she heard her name, padding over to this stranger her demeanor was more...cordial than her irritation from straying away from her prior duties.

A thick-furred, mottled blue-gray mackerel tabby she-cat with copper eyes.

Squirrelwhisker made her way over to the prey pile, grabbing a blackbird off of the top. It was still warm, and would be perfect for that new apprentice. What was their name?

Minkpaw.

The she-cat turned around to see the young apprentice beside the entrance to the medicine den, and headed over to them. Squirrelwhisker sat beside Minkpaw, setting down the blackbird and nudging it toward the former RiverClanner with her maw.

''Here,'' She murmured softly, wrapping her plumed, curled feathery tail around her paws. The thick-furred, mottled blue-gray warrior's copper gaze set on Minkpaw. ''You have to eat. I know it's not fish, but at least its something.''

watching the other cats converse amongst another, apprentices sparring and cats going in and out of camp freely was something minkpaw had never really found the time to do back in riverclan. between trying to catch up on her training and also attempting to somehow hold the clan together the pleasure of just viewing others go about their days never sparked any interest in her. but now that she was more than alone, either actively disliked or suspiciously side eyed by a majority of the cats surrounding her she found comfort in sitting in the shade and silently observing.
taking the less than positive reception and general opinion most cats seemed to hold into account she wouldve expected any of these cats to attack her before even considering one of them might actively seek her out and offer her food as well.
it was.. awkward..but also kind of sweet. minkpaw first reaction was to grimace at the misinformation but the unfamiliar smell around her was enough of a reminder to keep everything inside for now, and instead put on a small smile.
"thank you." she mewed simply, suppressing the snappy responses she had gone through in her head, all surrounding the fact that riverclan cats eat land prey too.
"uhm..i never caught your name?" she attempted, still cautious as if a single wrong word would make the cat turn on her, but controlled enough to keep the question light and any tension ouf of her voice.

Voices outside her den brought Lostspark out of the depths. Fogged amber eyes betrayed no emotion as they fixated on Squirrelwhisker and Minkpaw. "Don't take her outside camp, and don't give her unnecessary information." Was all she said finally. It was an order, but other than that, Lostspark didn't particularly care. Turning away, the herbalist disappeared once more into the darkness of her den.

Thrushkit's mouth fell open. This warrior was so much bigger than him. Oh what would he do if he flopped down on him by accident! He wanted to be strong like this cat.

He said in a shaky, timid voice. His legs shook as he kept examining the warriors strength.
