Dirt (Open)

Dirt sat on a tree branch, looking at the setting sun. Though not expressing it, he secretively misses his homeclan, RiverClan. He was surprised that he survived this long in the outside world. He missed his friends as well as his deputy ranked. He cannot remember what a delicious, silvery fish tastes like anymore.

He looked down at the twoleg fence that was near the old tree. The fence surrounds a particular rotten and pink-colored house; it was against the rest of houses who were red and fresh. He leapt off the said old tree's branch and onto the fence; he was curious why this house looks old against the others. It... slightly gave the elderly loner a... familiar encounter. To Dirt, the rotten house is like a cat who was almost to his edge of his life, and the rest of the houses left it behind, or something like that? the loner thought. He stared at the old house, trying to figure out what bell it rings to him.

Eyes flashed through the windows of the old twoleg den. Leaping down the ex-kittypet emerged from the holding of the den, her fur white and matted. "Hello there!" Ghost mewed approaching the loner. @Dirtfur

Dirt hissed as he saw some kind of pale creature came out of the rotten, abandoned twoleg den. The second time he saw it, he spotted the pointy ears, the ones that Dirt also has. Maybe that is a cat? A kittypet?

Leaning closer, he watched the white-pelted she-cat walked closer, greeting the old loner. Dirt jumped down, padding towards the kittypet.

"Um.. hi," he greeted back. "Who are you? And what happened to that twoleg den?" his tail pointed at the rotten house.

The molly looked back at the old run down den, "The twolegs who lived here left years ago, leaving me behind." Ghost recalled turning to face the loner "It just got old I guess and started to fall apart." She shrugged. "Oh, I'm ghost, and you are?" Ghost questioned him. { @Dirtfur}

Dirt nodded as the kittypet explained. He did not dug down to investigate why the twolegs left; twolegs are weird and are not that important to clan. The loner looked curiously at the she-cat who was named ghost.

"What's a ghost?" the old tom whispered. He doesn't understand twolegs. "Well, I'm Dirt." he introduced himself to Ghost.

The oddly colored torbie tom stalked up to the hole, getting ready to pouce onto the ground to scare his prey out. Licking his lips he slammed his paws down at the entrance to the weasel hole, seeing the lanky creature sprint out of a bush. There you are. He pushed off with his hind legs, he bolted towards his lunch, slamming a large paw down onto its shoulders. Quickly, his maw punctured the creature's throat. He held his head up, licking the blood from his maw. "Delicious!" Azo purred. The young adult usually didn't purr much but, when he caught his favorite meal, he was bound to.

Taking to the trees, he leaped up onto a branch with his lunch dangling from his jaws. He heard voices but, didn't know where they came from. So, he stayed weary of the area around him, pulling his food closer to him while looking around the trees.

She tilted her head at the toms question "it's like a spirit." Ghost explained her tail swaying. Her eyes darted to the trees and she slightly jumped. Is it my brother coming to great me again? she asked herself, slowly she made her way towards the fence and leaped up and on the fence, scanning the trees above her. @Dirtfur @Wings

A spirit? So like the ones from StarClan? Wait, does that make the ancestors in StarClan ghosts? Dirt shook his head violently. No, that doesn't make StarClan a bunch of ghost cats, don't be silly! Dealing with existential crisis, the loner didn't noticed the she-cat leaving the ex-warrior alone.

Moving the dark thoughts back to his mind, the huge tomcat blinked slowly, looking around his surroundings. Finally returning to reality, Dirt realizes that the so called 'Ghost' left by his side. Turning around he spotted the white-pelted she-cat staring at the tree, the same one used by the dirt-cat.

Letting the she-cat be, Dirt jumped on top of the fence beside Ghost, then moved away from her. "Maybe I can find something around the old den," the loner mumbled.
