Tulippaw listened carefully to what her brother had to say. It was clear she was taking this serious. The calico had waited a whole extra moon for her apprenticeship, so she felt she was more than ready to become the best apprentice she could be. It reminded her of her days before Fogkit's disappearance, when she used to gloat about becoming the best apprentice in the Clan. Maybe now she could actually achieve those dreams, if she could get Fogkit out of her head, that is.
"I know you won't go easy on me Beanfloat! But don't worry! You won't have to. I'll work really hard." She promised with a purr to her brother.
As Beanfloat led her out of the camp the calico scampered after him with an enthusiastic smile. She was ready to take on whatever he threw at her! This was her new beginning! She was finally beginning to move on from Fogkit's disappearance, even if he was still always in her heard. Living on with her in her thoughts.
"So we're learning hunting first?" She asked, thinking back to the days when she used to "hunt" bugs around the camp.
The calico watched her brothers demonstration carefully, and copied him, dropping down into a crouch next to him. She tried her best to keep her tail straight out like he did, although it was weird trying to balance on her back legs. She pounced on the pinecone, although her jump was clumsy and she stumbled as she landed.
"Was that okay?" She asked, looking up at Beanfloat slightly nervously.
