Slypaw jolted back, startled. He looked to the she-cat who had spoken. "Er Hi?" he said, a bit confused. Someone was talking to him? And they're a girl? I must be dreaming, he thought.

I look gloomy? he thought, quickly putting on a smile. "That'd be nice... What'd you want ta do? I'm fine with anything... Except for disobeying Bumblestar's rules" he responded, his body slowly relaxing.

"Thunderclan warrior and Riverclan warrior?" he'd never heard of the game. Maybe that's why he'd heard kits screaming at their denmates fish related insults. "I've never played that before" he'd never really been invited to play with the other kits that much after momma died. And it's not like dad allowed him to anyways. "Could ya explain the rules?"

Sounds easy enough he thought. Unfair though, I believe she's been an apprentice longer than me and I haven't had any battle training yet. "Yeah I think I get it" he said, having nothing better to do.

"We just playfight right?" Slypaw asked, getting into a crouching position, his tail lashing and his hindquarters wriggling as he prepared to pounce. He leaped, aiming for the fellow apprentice, claws sheathed and a playful expression on his face.
