Welcome to Character of the Month, a feature designed to recognize two characters who deserve kudos!

Using the form found at the bottom of this post, you may nominate two Main Roleplay characters you think deserved to be featured! Please use one form per character - they should not be in the same form.

For the sake of giving every character a chance, avoid nominating cats who have already been nominated for the month.

Nominations will be held for approximately 3 weeks, ending on the 22nd. Once it ends, a poll will be posted displaying the names of the characters who qualify for voting.

Users can vote for as many characters as they want to be recognize, provided it is not their own character. It is discouraged to vote for every character listed, as only two will win.

If two characters have the most votes, but they are roleplayed by the same person, the winner will be picked by staff based on the nomination reasons, and the second winner will default to the next highest vote.

The voting period will end on the last day of the month, and the results will be posted on the 1st of the new month.

Members who have nominated a character will have their username added to a raffle at the end of the nomination period. Three lucky members will be rolled by the staff team and receive 2,500 Koins! Previous winners will be eligible to win again after three months.

Before you nominate, please keep these in mind.

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated to avoid inactive characters being featured.
• You may not nominate your own characters, or advertise your characters to gain nominations.
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule cannot be voted for the month they broke the guideline. They will be omitted from the final polling.
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed. Additionally, be thorough in your evaluation of the character. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded. We want to know why you think this cat deserves attention!
• You may nominate two characters, but avoid nominating characters who have already been nominated.
• A character who has won before may be nominated only after 6 months.

Why should this character be featured?: Shadowclan is a gigantic pile of angsty cats with the innocent littol baby named Palesong as the cherry on top. She's a joy to read and is a very loyal silly! I cannot read enough of this character.

Why should this character be featured?: marigoldkit is truly the sweetest little guy and a cat minkpaw would gladly and with no regrets die for. (to absolutely no ones surprise) she is written absolutely beautifully and every post holds so much character and charm i wonder what witchcraft marigoldwhisper works into mere letters. i absolutely adore how marigoldwhisper characterises other peoples characters and picks up on tiny little details to intrigrate into her replies. back to marigoldkit, frail and weak though on the way to a better health she is still trying her best to settle into riverclan and get to know the ways of the clans and does exactly that with not an ounce of fear and a heart of gold. she shows an incredible, though still realistic, amount of emotional maturity and compassion, especially for her young age. i am definitely more than thrilled to see where the future takes her and am very much looking forward to being a part of it. in more simple words: shes easily one of my favourite characters on here.

Why should this character be featured?: this name will one day wreck my brain beyond return but ohhh this kitty is a very silly one. shes a absolute sweetheart with so much character and charm i can barely believe it. she has such a interesting character and background, being almost entirely unharmed by the cruelty the world holds and thereby more or less unaware of what exactly is going on around her, especially now that she has joined riverclan and is on the direct way to being introduced to a whole bunch of unfamiliar rules and customs. this is kind of a mess but what it all boils down to is that she is a very interesting and pleasant character to read and i am looking forward to throwing my own cats at kat and begging for interactions with wisteria.

Why should this character be featured?: Oh. My. Stars. Misty has gone through a LOT of growth! Never in a million years did i expect her to make it this far. I knew she was capable of it, but i just wasn’t expecting this amount of growth. Starry roleplays misty actively, and keeps her character consistent. That’s why misty deserves the spotlight!

Why should this character be featured?: oh my gosh, where do I start? Drizzle is such a sweetie! Her posts are a joy to read, and I am shocked that she hasn't won COTM. She shows such strong emotions, and I can see how much she cares for others. Omari does a great job capturing Drizzlecloud in their posts, and I love how strongly Drizzle can feel for another

Why should this character be featured?: Heron is amazing. She is such a grouchy little girl, and I love the way she is roleplayed! She has unique connections to her siblings and parents, and the way she is portrayed is just wonderful. I was surprised she hasn't won, as she is one of my favorite characters to read, and she defo deserves to win COTM !!

Why should this character be featured?: oh my god where do i even start? minks is so awesome and alec roleplays her so well! reading her posts is an emotional rollercoaster, and i'm always left wondering what will happen next. whenever alec posts with her, i click that post faster than you can say "MINKS!". i'm always on edge, wondering what epic new plot twist will emerge.

Why should this character be featured?: Lightningpaw is a fun and dynamic character who I enjoy having character interactions with a lot, mostly between Rabbitpaw and Lightningpaw as the two are close friends! I love hearing about the little details and thoughts put into the character and his backstory and for future plans as well and can’t wait to see where he goes! Well written and an enjoyable read!

Why should this character be featured?: HAWKFUUURRRR my absolute beloved !! Such a goofy little goober with such a depth to him and a person playing him who's dedication to portraying his character never goes unnoticed. He's just a little guy and I believe that the world must appreciate him for all he has to offer. Incredibly loyal, and an astounding Fury all around <33
