"indeed, that wimp, is my nephew. Now Emberpaw, tell me, what do you know of the clans hunting style?" deadclaw meowed curtly "i think while where out here we'll start with Hunting and Borders"

Mossdance followed Cobwebpaw with a watchful eye. The Siamese stalked across the dark grounds, scrunching her nose up at the smell. “Smells like Crowfood.” she growled shaking her head. “Never mind. What do you smell?” she asked. Mossdance took a deep breath herself too. ”well?” Mossdance could scent frog and swamp.
Mossdance followed Cobwebpaw with a watchful eye. The Siamese stalked across the dark grounds, scrunching her nose up at the smell. “Smells like Crowfood.” she growled shaking her head. “Never mind. What do you smell?” she asked. Mossdance took a deep breath herself too. ”well?” Mossdance could scent frog and swamp.
"i smell the scents of the plants, but among those scents i smell frogs, and lizard and a stray mouse" Cobwebpaw meowed, already paddling silently forward towards the smell, he crouched down once he spotted the mouse and silently stalked forward, then once he felt he was close enough he pounced on the mouse. he looked up at the warrior, who in truth, he'd forgotten about for a moment

Mossdance raised an eyebrow. To be honest, that apprentice was quite good at hunting. He pounced at the right time and pinned the mouse down very quickly. This apprentice might be annoying, but he is a very promising hunter, She thought. She gave a nod of approval. “That was very good, however, you were facing the wind, so the mouse could smell your scent. Thank Starclan you pounced before it could escape.”

Cobwebpaw nodded "yeah" he picked up th mouse and buried it in a spot were he remembered in would be... he perked up his ears as he sniffed again, this time looking for something that would at least give him a good chase before he killed it with his tooth and cclaws

She buried her crow next to Cobwebpaw’s catch and hunted a bit more. She shook her fur and glanced up as Cobwebpaw came back with some prey. She smiled. “Okay. That’s enough. When we get back, you can give your mouse to the elders.”

Darknight sat underneath a pine tree in the territory, his ears perked as he listened to the sounds around him, with his eyes closed. To most it would seem he was sleeping, but he wasn’t, no he was gathering information about what was around him through the sounds of the forest. He could hear birds that had yet to migrate singing in the treetops, and a squirrel nearby chewing on a nut. The sounds could tell him a lot, if he was left alone. And he preferred this kind of peaceful calm bliss. No worries, no pain, no annoyances. He found that silence was indeed a pure thing in which he could think in peace, for without thought, and proper Thinking, one could live a blissful life… well that is… if they weren't in Shadowclan, which seemed to tom to be like chaos gathered into one spot. The tom let out a huff of breath and opening his eyes watched the cold air of mist that came from his breath as it rose skyward. Often it was the simplest things that could be so interesting if only you took the time to look, and look he did, and he found that there were many little wonders in the world, like birth or season change, or just a simple pine cone with all its curves and points.
