Slatestripe padded into the nursery. He had made a promise to himself some time ago now to start helping out with more than just Blossomflight’s kits. Now that she was… missing, it seemed to be the perfect time to start following through on that.

He noticed a bored looking kit, all by themselves. The small warrior looked down at the kit. “Hello,” he said calmly. “What’s your name?” The nice thing about kits was that one could ask them that without them getting offended, unlike adults.

She purred and curled around Crowkit. Glancing around for the little grey and black kit's siblings, she found them and pulled them close with her tail.
"I'm never going to let you guys go, and nothing will ever be able to hurt you."

Birdpaw chuckled lightly as the kit spoke, it seemed to be quite the feat and she offered the little molly a congratulatory, gentle pat on the top of her head. Then, Swiftkit batted the moss ball to Crowkit, and Birdpaw stepped back, ready for when one of the kits passed the ball to her.

It was odd being alone in the nursery. He'd always had Ro to keep him company. He should probably get used to it for a bit now though, since she was off.... doing more important things. Koikit couldn't help but miss her. Maybe he could sneak into the apprentice's den and catch a nap with her, to be like old times! He was alright for now... probably. The kit lay down and closed his eyes, hoping for a good sleep and maybe some sweet wacky dreams.

Crowkit was very excited, she came close to the tail and she was now energetic. She pounced on the mom's tail as her orange eyes filled with excitement.

Crowkit's orange eyes glew as the apprentice's paw pat her on the head she felt accomplished! Her next word was..

"Play!" She hit the moss-ball to Bird paw and ran toward where the apprentice's paws were, being a foot or two away from them.

Swiftkit giggled as Crowkit hit the moss-ball to Birdpaw, squeaking exciedly. This game was fun!! Well, obviously it was fun. But with new friends it was more fun! After a moment the kit decided to chase the other one around.

Crowkit let out a squeal as she ran behind Birdpaw.
