Midnightkit padded into the clearing, wanting to stretch out their legs from being inside the nursery all day. They were getting a bit bigger and wondered if they should ask Dawnstar or Mistlewhisker about their apprentice ceremony since they had to wait an extra moon for sneaking out of camp last moon.
The kit, padded to a sunny spot and laid down on their side, letting the sun warm up their pelt. It was a nice day out today and Midnightkit was in a good mood. They listen to their clan members chat around them, listen to the sounds of birds chirping nearby. It was truly a good day for them.

hollyfall's mind races and so does his heart, staring at stempaw incredulously when the tom utters an..insult. ugh, and even worse, he's write! he's not even being mean! this is so embarrassing..that's it. there's only one thing left to do, kill him, the black tom decides with a large frown, still staring at stempaw like a deer in headlights. wait, maybe killing is going a little too far. this is a kid, after all.
this kid is totally evil, he thinks, expression turning into an almost pained grimace. "um." the warrior tries to talk, he really does - but the rest of his words get caught in his throat as he simply stares. "good. I mean - I'm good at stealth." he croaks, voice dying down near the end as his orange gaze darts around. woe is me, he thinks bitterly.

Stempaw wrinkled his nose in disbelief. If he had eyebrows, one would be raised. "Really?" He retorted, the disbelief in his eyes reflected thickly in his voice. He had no idea what the warrior was thinking, but he may not have cared even if he did know. "I don't think that stalk would've tricked a deaf rabbit." He added matter-of-factly, his tail flicking dismissively.
Stempaw was, once more, vaguely aware that he was speaking to a warrior. A cat who, as deemed by his leader, was better than him. The thought made him snort. Not based on that display... The black and gray tom didn't even seem capable of defending himself.
