Rajah tilted his head as the large molly, whom he now knew was called Dawnstar, answered him. Weird name... though he supposed she thought the same about his. She gave him the information that she was the leader, which wasn't surprising based on how she carried herself. The part about placement did cause the Toyger a little confusion, but he didn't ask about it. Hopefully, he would find out soon enough when he got accepted into ShadowClan.
"As you wish," Rajah said with a twinkle of mischief in his eyes as he lowered himself into his own crouch. Forty-seven moons as a rogue meant he knew a thing or two about fighting. After all, it was the only reason he was still alive today. Fighting larger and stronger opponents was nothing new to him, and the brilliantly striped tom's lean muscles rippled under his pelt as he made his move.
He darted towards Dawnstar, one unsheathed forepaw lashing at the molly's eyes as he reared onto his hind legs slightly. A classic move and one he completely expected her to dodge, but its purpose wasn't to hit. His first strike was meant to take the molly's eyes off him for a split second, in which the follow-up would be delivered before she could react. For the follow-up, his other forepaw was turned so his pads faced the sky as he swung it upwards, fully intending on clocking Dawnstar hard under her chin and snap her head backward. Trickery was his forte, and Rajah hoped that he would last long enough to show it off.
Fernkit called out "Hello?" "Is someone there?" "I wanna go home" she whimpered @starry
Cinderblaze had been going for a stroll through a territory, and he was planning to hunt. He sniffed at the air, soon scenting vole. The deputy was about to drop into a hunters' crouch when he heard a voice. Swiftly he made his way towards Fernkit, raising his eyebrows. "Fernkit," he mewed. "Where have you been?"
"I-I don't really know" she mewled tilting her head "Can we go home now?" she asked looking straight at the older cat. @starry
Cinderblaze shook his head, whiskers twitching. "No," he replied calmly. "You're going to tell me exactly where you were and why you were gone for a moon." He would not let anyone back into ShadowClan without an excuse for their absence, regardless of age.
Fernkit closed her eyes as though trying to remember something "I went to sleep but I wasn't with everyone else, I was on the side, and then I woke up and I wasn't in the nursery and I was here, it's cold and wet out here and I can't eat anything apart from the smelly, dead stuff I find" She wrinkled her nose as she mentioned the food

@starry
"So, you're saying that you were sleeping like you normally do, and then you randomly managed to wake up in the territory? That doesn't seem very realistic to me," Cinderblaze answered, flicking his tail. "Either you tell me the truth or you tell me what could've happened to make you wake up in the middle of nowhere. However, at the moment, this doesn't make sense. I would take you back but you'll have to provide me with an actual explanation."
Now walking back to where he was with a rabbit, Thorn dropped it at the sight of the unfamiliar cat. ShadowClan... Hearing the unfamiliar cat's harsh voice, he laid the rabbit down carefully and began to speak to avoid getting shredded.
"I am Thorn," the tabby and white tom purred. "I came across one of your Clan's apprentices, Willowpaw, and they said you'd be impressed more with my rabbit than with my squirrel."
The tom paused for a moment then continued on, "I am here to join your Clan if you'll have me. ShadowClan seems like a worthy Clan to join, all the others are... weak, in my eyes at least. I admire your leadership of this Clan and want to be a part of it. Be a part of something great."
As the tom gave his name and dropped his catch, Dawnstar's expression remained unfriendly and irritated. It didn't help that he mentioned knowing Willowpaw. When had the apprentice had the time to get to know outsiders, and why was she telling him about what Dawnstar liked and didn't like. The leader scrunched up her nose in distaste as meowed about her leading and wanting to be a part of her clan.
"Cute," Dawnstar huffed, not overly impressed with the young cat. "Where are you kin, and when did you have the time to talk with one of my apprentices?" That is what bugged Dawnstar the most was fact that one of her cats had befriended an outsider, apparently told them about her clan and didn't think it wise to let her know about it.

@Undertaker
There was a rat hunting in her territory, great! She might have to actually kill this one. Dawnstar's golden eyes locked onto the young cat who had managed to catch a rabbit, might have been impressive if she hadn't been hunting in someone else's territory. Stalking out of the shadows as the cat began to move again, Dawnstar unsheathed her claws and drew the youngster's attention to her with a furious hiss. "So a trespasser and a thief, not a good first impression."

@Undertaker
Her hackles rose as Brackentail went back over to the outskirts, his peaceful gesture did little to appease the already irked ShadowClan leader. "Pfft! Hahahahaha! Loyal, hahaha! That's a good one! You wouldn't know loyalty if it was staring you in the face." It was funny how cats seemed to think that she'd just forget over a few moons all their wrongdoings. "You traitor, you plotted against me, you're own clan leader, for whatever stupid reason. Why the hell would you ever think I'd let you set foot in ShadowClan again." Aside from plotting against her, he also vanished from camp, a came that he was not supposed to leave. Brackentail had bees for brains if thought that he'd ever she'd let him return. He should just be happy he was still breathing.

Iciclebranch padded through the pine forest, heading towards the ShadowClan camp. They hoped Dawnstar wouldn't be too angry with them. But then, Dawnstar... And what about Cinderblaze...? Oh, well, at least they were heading back.
[Umm, well, given that Snow's exile is set for a certain amount of days and no word of them trying to complete the exile and return happened then Dawn would count them as missing since they never came back from exile.]
The hulking brown she-cat was on her way out of camp, restless as ever when she spotted the gray-blue cat coming their way. The pale eyes and marble marking told Dawnstar who it was even if the scent was barely ShadowClan "Iciclebranch, where have you been?" Dawnstar's never been overly happy when her cats went missing, no leader would or should be happy about it.

Before any more thoughts of the experience could slip into the toms mind, an unfamiliar scent slowly settled into his senses. Did someone finally decide to show up? Well it was about time. Oddly enough he couldn't pin point the exact location of the fellow. But the answer he was searching for was explained when the bushes behind him shook momentarily, and what felt like a freight train rammed into his side.
The attacker caught him completely of guard and he crumbled to the pine ridden floor. At first he thought a badger had rendered the unexpected assault, but OZ shot the thought down he noticed this creature smelled far worse. A gurgled cough escaped his scarred maw, when he felt a large paw splay across his throat. After a moment of hesitation he opened his eyes wearily.
He had half expected there to be a brutish drooling dog over him, but instead it was just a cat. Not as brutish and drooling as the original option, but still threatening nonetheless. OZ was taken aback by the sheer size of the molly, I mean this women rivaled his size completely. And as much as he didn't want to admit she was most likely bigger.
Which was embarrassing in it's own way. A bit of annoyance fogged his gaze as he tried to wriggle free from her grip. "Good lord lady, gimme some air-" he wheezed. This was not how he planned on spending his day, but alas fate had others plans obviously. And as much as he wanted to curse this cats mothers grave for humiliating him, he decided he'd let this encounter slid..just this once.
Huh, his senses weren't that great, but then again Dawnstar shouldn't really blame him for not being able to notice her. It was hard for cats to adapt to unfamiliar territory, and even then Dawnstar had been born in the darkness, moving stealthily through the shadows had always been a skill she excelled at compared to other members of her clan.
As her huge paws connected to the tom's side, he went down without a fight, going limp to a point that Dawnstar had to make sure that catch the majority of her weight on her hindlegs lest she ends up accidentally breaking something. Up close and personal, Dawnstar noticed that this cat was no small fry, even though Dawnstar was slowly realizing that size didn't always mean stronger, she was relatively impressed with his. She might have a bigger than him but it wasn't by a large margin. Grimhound had been one of the few cats that actually managed to be closer to her size, alongside the behemoth and a few others within her clan.
Did he close his eyes? Dawnstar blinked her own eyes as her powerful muscles swelled with the anticipation of some form of retaliation that she never obtained. It took him a few seconds to open them and look at her. The expression on the heavily scarred face was deadpanned. As he began to squirm and whine about lacking air, Dawnstar didn't bother moving her giant paw from where it was planned against his throat and instead eased up on the pressure. Rather, she fully unsheathed one of her claws and planned it lightly against his throat in hopes it would get him to stop moving in fear of getting cut.
"You seemed more annoyed than scared, which is good I supposed. Let's get the questioning, who are you and why are you trespassing in my territory." The she-cat made it very clear that she had no intentions of letting him out without a very good fight by the way she leaned further back on her haunches, almost sitting on the tom's lower half.

She worried, looking around. Maybe one of the cats would appear out of the shadows. They are ShadowClan after all, shadow is literally in their name! Heh, unlikely but that would be quite ironic. And if they do come? Then what do I do? I can't just say "I want to join you." and expect to be let in!...Plus, that sounds creepy. Definitely wouldn't be a good first impression, thats for sure!
Seated, strangely comfortable on the sturdy limb of a pine tree, Dawnstar found herself staring at some cat who's been sitting at the base of the tree for a little while. Dawnstar hadn't a clue why the... she-cat from the scent, was sitting here or trespassing but she seemed smart enough not to go any further into Dawnstar's territory than she already was. With some quick, light leaps that barely trembled the branches, Dawnstar descended from the trees nearly as stealthy as she moved through the shadows. Granted, the trees would never be as silent as the darkness was. Bits and pieces of bark and pine needles were dislodged as Dawnstar made to the ground, alerting the trespasser to her presence. It was fine in this case, the hulking, scarred, maine coon mix wasn't trying to hide.
"You've been sitting here for a bit," Dawnstar grumbled in a low voice as she shook out stray needles in her pelt. "What do you want?" The usual urge to shred the interloper vanished seeing as she wasn't hunting or roaming her territory, still she didn't belong here.

She got her answer when her head was forcefully jerked up and she was knocked out of her crouch as she followed the momentum of the uppercut. She jerked back two paw steps, shaking her head rapidly as she reeled backward, and ignoring how her teeth rattled and her chin throbbed. Great, she was fighting another snake, she'd have to watch him closely. As he dropped his front paws back on the ground, with her powerful back legs, Dawnstar propelled herself at her opponent, quickly ducking her head to try and grasp Rajah's throat. She had no intention of killing him or causing severe damage, but if he jerked too much her fangs would most likely leave some marks. Dawnstar would follow up by raising her forepaw, claws sheathed, and bashing her paws into the tom's chest. In a real battle, it would help her tear through the thick muscle and fur as she ripped apart the neck.

Thorn smirked a bit then huffed, “My kin? I have no kin.” The Tom thought back to when his mother had kicked him out of their territory for supposedly killing his brother, and in the process, disowned him. He shook the thought out of his head and continued to answer Dawnstar’s question. “I was waiting for a patrol to show up so I could speak with them and find out about the Clans- to see if they were worth approaching. The others weren’t, but yours… yours was.” Thorn had put all his thoughts on this cat’s Clan. He had no intention of hiding anything- he thought he’d be a good warrior, and be able to belong to something. He then spoke up once more. “I guess you could say this apprentice was on a patrol. It only consisted of two cats.”

Joining Form
Name: Thana
Age: 43
Gender: Female
Rank Request: Warrior (?)
Reason for Joining: She has been thinking about it ever since she first heard about the clans, and Shadowclan seemed like the best choice to her
A pair of green-tinted blue eyes slowly swept their gaze over the tall pine and spruce trees as the muscular feline moved through the marshland. She had stayed up all night thinking about this, and as soon as the first rays of light had cracked through the roof of her den she had taken the head and pelt she had tucked away, and headed out. Despite the lack of proper sleep and early hour she was everything but tired, and moved forward with certainty and calmness, sure of her goal but still watchful for any movement around her, and her ears pricked for any founds that might suggest danger.
She had planned to do this for a good while now, turning the idea over and over in her mind ever since she had first heard of these clans and gotten a description of them and all that. Shadowclan had always seemed like the best choice from what little she had been told about them. She wasn't one for swimming, running after her food seemed annoying, and while she was quite the excellent climber Thunderclan seemed to have just a few too many problems for her. So that was how she had found this group of cats. It had been quite the walk to get here, but after being told they lived in a marshy area she knew where to look.
And just as she was expected, she soon felt the scent markers. She stopped there, guessing that quite literally crossing their lines and disrespecting their boundaries might not make the best first impression. So dropped the cat head, and allowed the golden and brown pelt to slide down from her shoulders, placing both of her little offerings neatly on the ground, and sitting down on a rock beside them, where she had a somewhat better view of her surroundings, ears pricking attentively. She didn't feel like being taken by surprise, and the gloominess of the morning and thick marsh wasn't much of a problem for her eyes, since night hunting was a common activity for her.
