QUILLPAW he/him. 9 moons. dark grey tom; tabby markings; light grey markings, amber and blue eyes.

quillpaw lays near the apprentice's den, head resting on his paws with his eyes shut. he's not sleeping, oh definitely not in the clearing, he's simply enjoying the sun. he's hoping that nobody interrupts his moment of relaxation. he's grumpy, but not in a horrible mood yet. he's planning for it to stay this way. but, of course, life has other plans.
his eyes snap open, head shooting up as he feels something (or someone) tug his tail. anger quickly bubbles up within him following the initial shock, whipping his head around to hiss at whoever the hell decided to pull the stunt. "you–" he begins, furious glare settling on a blonde twerp, who he recognizes as bleedingpaw, and right now the poor apprentice is on the receiving end of a nasty scowl. he's never talked to the kid before, and has only really ever seen him when lostspark introduced him to the family during that hellish family meeting. so technically, he's his younger brother. hrm. his nose scrunches, eyes narrowing at the wobbly little fellow.
"what are you doing?" he questions with a huff, twisting to aim a small bap at bleedingpaws leg. not hard enough to hurt, more or less a little warning tap. truly, if it'd been someone that wasn't family, quillpaw probably would've insulted them for hours. but it looks like bleedingpaw realizes his mistake, letting out a horribly loud 'eep'. "you're loud."
Bleedingpaw
Shadowclan Apprentice | He/Him | 6 Moons
Just a Scratch | Shadow Fiend
On no oh no oh no!!! Quillpaw was gonna kill him and hate him like Moonpaw and drive him out into the territory like their brother did!!! 'Meeping' quietly at the beginnings of his sisters snap Bleedingpaw instinctively balled awkwardly, legs betraying him as they sent him into a sprawl instead of a little rolly polly huddle and leaving him vulnerable to... A bap.
A bap? Like just a bap? Hell Grouse gave worse baps then that and he was just playing with the recent kitten.
Large blue eyes, still holding a hint of panicked fear, looked up at the older apprentice, golden head cocking slightly in complete confusion. Why wasnt she more angry? He'd got her tail then yelped annoyingly but she was just asking a question instead. Was this a trap?
The golden bengal had no clue so a little hesitant he just answered the question still half sprawled along the ground. "Uuuuuhmm Im practicing hunting today cus Miss Brairsplash is busy and Mr Pats says I need to work on my battle stuff a lot before he even tries to teach me advanced stuff and I dont have a partner for that so I was just practicing hunting.... Im really sorry I didnt know it was your tail Quillpaw and I didnt mean to yell Ill go away if Ive annoyed you."
That seemed a safer option then making another enemy of a sibling. Bleedingpaw ached for more who cared for him sure, he always did love hungry as he was but it wasnt worth making someone obviously better then him mad. After all, if the rumors were true and Quillpaw was looking to be the first younger sibling made warrior she had to be special right?

Bloomingblaze snickered.
“Tiny lil’ Dawnstar’s sounds kinda’ funny, if ya’ think about it.” She chimed “Just imagine a lil’ puffball trynna look as angry as Dawnstar can look.”
Just the image itself was funny to Bloomingblaze.
The idea of seeing it in reality seemed even more amusing.

Quietpaw could've just tackled Quillpaw at this point, but she had enough sense ro rein in her ire. She had to have some restraint at least and attacking her littermate wasn't something she could just do, unfortunately, without punishment. Oh, but she could still imagine his demise as many times as she wished. Her mind was free to do what it wanted.
Lowering herself onto her haunches, the splotched she-cat glowered at Quillpaw as he went on taunting her. 'Just you wait' She swore internally. If her brother kept pushing her then one day she would snap, but not this day. Not yet. Cold gaze still glued to him in a form of a glare, she kept herself from bursting out into laughter by giving her paw a few slow laps. A common habit also used a coping method.
Ironic, truly ironic. What a daft little thing her brother must be to judge her when he himself was doing exactly the same in a different way. He too was fighting off boredom in an even more depressing way. "And you, Quillpaw, are you even more so that you stick your nose in other cats' buisness and pester them? How adorable." Quietpaw mumured abruptly with a similar tip of her head. A glimmer of amusement flickering in her narrowed eyes.
Palekit yawned and stretched his little paws in the comfort of the nursery. Yawning and slightly mumbling after a good nap. Something was not right. He had definitely forgotten something. Perhaps he was too tired jumping around that he really had forgotten something extremely important.
'What could it be?' Palekit couldn't think of any task he had forgotten to do that day, until suddenly a voice came calling from the clearing for Palekit to come out.
"Eh? Yes?" Palekit padded out of the nursery as fast as can. There in front of him was gray she-cat with foggy amber eyes. "Ah! The medicine cat?!"
That's right, he had forgotten. Though a little forgetful, Palekit had loved learning and he was always to learn more. This time his interest lay in the herbs in the medicine cat den. Different kind with all sort of colours and smell. If Palekit could just learn a tiny little bit, he would.
Palekit had nodded eagerly, "Yes! I-I've always wanted to know what those plants were in the medicine cat den!"
"Which one will we learn first?" Palekit looked up, awaiting curiously to hear more.

GROUSEPAW THE TRAILBLAZER
⋆˖ The Fool ˖⋆ SILVER TONGUE - JUST A SCRATCH - BURN, BABY, BURN
"i wouldn't kill to win a war. i don't get what they do it for."
grousepaw had been putting this off. for quite a while, in fact. his discomfort with the white-and-black she-cat had gotten to a frankly absurd point, and dodging her was doing neither any real good. she had killed, she had killed so many, hardly any older than herself. she had filled so many graves, left riverclan reeling, and had the audacity to walk back here and look at him like he was going to just, keep up their little status quo of give and take. he couldn't tolerate that- it was everything he hated, everything he despised, everything he fought. senseless death for a senseless war. there's no glory in lowering the corpses into shallow graves. so, when he pulled away and cut his own path once more, alone, he could see the confusion behind icy blue eyes. it hurt.
honestly, it hurt.
and without seeing glowingpaw around since the patrol, he was feeling more alone than he ever had. shying away from companionship was the last thing he needed to do. even if sleepy was, by all means, a monster. he had no room to push back. no ground to stand on anymore.
so he was gonna do something about it.
"hey," grouse said, trotting up beside the spotted she-cat, chin angling downwards at the much shorter cat. he nodded over his shoulder towards the camp exit. "want to go grab some honey with me? i was thinking we could go for a walk and catch up. if you're not too to kick rocks with the common man," he added with a disarming grin, "little lady."

Okay. So. Today absolutely sucked. Gracklpaw had disappeared from the face of the earth, which was (KEEP IT A SECRET!!!) her worst nightmare besides him dying in some absolutely horrible way and she wouldn't be able to save him like a good warrior should. So yeah, today sucked. Like, really really sucked. Magpiepaw was nearly a warrior, a fully made warrior, and yet she felt grief and fear overcome her like she had a second pelt of icy snow. What if he had died? Where the heck did he even go? Why had he gone? She still had so many pranks to pull on him, some to pull with him. Gone. All gone. Just like baba, just like mammy. Lost to whatever the world had in store for them. So yeah, Magpiepaw wasn't feeling it, she wasn't even angry, just overwhelmed and sad and scared.
The small she-cat paced the clearing, her fur spiked up this way and that as her eyes darted to and fro. Her long tail lashed impatiently behind her, her head looking up after every three paces just to look at the exit of the clearing, wondering if Gracklpaw would suddenly burst out of there and be all like, "Surprise! Haha, I sure got you! It was just a really extreme game of hide and go seek, I'm totally not dead or severely injured." But Magpiepaw knew Gracklepaw well enough to know that he wouldn't pull a stunt as insensitive as that, Magpiepaw wouldn't wish it on her worst enemy (AHEM, QUIETPAW, THE RAT!).
Her paw pads had gotten all sore from pacing so much, but Magpiepaw kept pumping her stubby legs as far as they could go. Maybe if she tried hard enough... Things would just happen for her. Ugh.... 'maybes'. She hated them, she despised them. She didn't want a maybe, she wanted to be sure, ABSOLUTELY sure. And 'maybes' don't cut it. A maybe won't bring Gracklpaw back home.

Another beautiful Greenleaf. It was hot, and the distant call of cicadas made it difficult for Birdpaw to think properly. Er, more difficult than it usually was, anyhow. She lounged in the sun, feeling a little ansty as always, until she noticed a familiar apprentice pacing relentlessly in a corner of camp. Birdpaw perked up. She remembered Magpiepaw's negative reaction to her voice during a patrol a while ago, but it hardly bothered her. Maybe she could convince Magpiepaw that they could be friends!! Maybe she needed to be more like Magpiepaw in order to get her to like her!
Birdpaw trotted over to the elder apprentice, her small legs struggling to match up with Magpiepaw's strides. She paced alongside her, screwing her face into a remnant of the scowl Magpiepaw had.

Gutspaw was dreadfully, dreadfully bored. It had been raining for the majority of the day and teeth was completely stuck in camp due to Dawnstar's restrictions. Oh abyss, it understood it was for safety and all but really. It just wanted to take short walks, something - to gather supplies!! It could not wait for it to be a warrior. At least they had a bit more freedom.
With a dreary sigh, the sky was still cloudy but the rain had turned into a light sprinkle. It shuffled out of the apprentice's den, eyes gaze at the mud. Hm. It shifted to a few nearby rocks. Hmmmm.
Might as well.
With a shrug of its shoulder, the apprentice pushed the rocks to a nearby mud pile and took a seat. Rearranging things were always fun. It started to try and replicate the trees - dragging its claws through the mud to act as the tree trunk and grouping a few pebbles together to form the leaves.
Gutspaw may or may not have a slight, slight rock collection issue. It gazed at its whole collection laid out in front of the den, sighing quietly. It was beginning to grow too much in size and was becoming a hassle in its nest. One of the rocks would need to go. New custody must be bestowed upon it but the real question was who was worthy? Gutspaw wasn't familiar with much cats, and,, its eyes became distant for a moment. Goopywhisker hadn't been seen in a bit. Surely though, he was fine. He had to be. Squirrelrise couldn't have a rock. No. Then she would think they were friends and they were not friends.
.. and then a certain rock caught Gutspaw' look. It was rather round, circular almost ... like... an eye socket. It was rather pretty, a dark black color with speckles of a golden color. Might make a good replacement. Or would that hurt? Really, it never had the chance to ask Mistlewhisker about it. Seems the best opportunity.
Gutspaw rose to its paws and sought out for the deputy. Once it found her, it would make a squeaking noise in attempts to grab her attention before setting down the rock.
