For a few moments she just sat there and stared at him and he had to wonder what was going through her mind. For him it felt like an eternity before she sighed and spoke "There was this dark forest, no light seeped through the trees. I ran until I found a river. I went closer to it, but before I could get to close a cat pounced on me." His ears pinned back against his skull after the set of words that followed. "That cat was my Mother."
This sparked him to wonder even more if this was just some sort of coincidence or not. "Your mother.. is she deceased?" He tried to word it as politely as he could. He rose from his haunches and padded over towards her his optics examining her since she never said if she was actually wounded or not.

"I don't know Doesong replied. "She abandoned me at 7 moons."

"I don't know"
Well that definitely didn't help his case and he didn't spot any blood on her either.
"She abandoned me at 7 moons."
The next line she spoke finally clicked with Adderfangs as he vaguely recalled the clan finding her and how she had become an apprentice. She was younger then him by at least a good few moons. He realized that he didn't pay that much attention to the other apprentices since he was so focused on his training and becoming a warrior.
"Well.. Would you like to come hunting with me?" he meowed to her as soon as he noticed the faint glimmer of light that barely touched the camp. Now was when he was usually just starting his day and since he figured she may not be able to fall back asleep and he didn't mind the company he decided to ask her. Worst she could say was no anyways. However he needed to get a move on if he wanted to watch the sunrise.

Doesong, brightened. She didn't mind something to distract her. She had always admired him as an apprentice, though he was so focussed on his training. "Of course." she replied. "Race you out of camp!!" And with that she ran out of the warriors den.

Well that appeared to lighten the mood.
"Of course."
"Race you out of camp!!"
He didn't even get time to speak before the she-cat bolted from the den and for a moment he stood there debating his option of calling after her but decided it was probably a lost cause. Instead he sprang into action letting his paws carry him swiftly after her.
It was only once he believed he was in ear-shot of her that he called out to her "Hey follow me!" Beginning to let his paws turn and lead towards 'his' hill.
Reply then follow to my next post. ^-^

Re: RiverClan Warriors' Den
Blizzardclaw lay in his nest. His sides heaving unevenly as more pain racked his chest and made it hard to breathe. His chest pains had been getting worse and he worried that he would have to report that he couldn't work as effectively anymore, or worse... he would have to quit being a warrior altogether. The icy-grey tom was a strong warrior, at only 50 moons he still had plenty of energy left to be a capable warrior. His age was not what the problem was... what nobody knew; not even Blizzardclaw was that the icy-grey tom has a major heart problem that would only get worse as he got older, and he would probably have to retire to the elder's den soon and then die young.
Groaning as the pain began to subside; Blizzardclaw sighed and curled up in his nest. He was so exhausted from this latest pain wave. "I bet I could sleep for a moon.." He mumbled gruffly as he groomed his ruffled fur and tried to breathe easier again. His chest felt sore and it was still difficult to breathe deeply. "I should probably go to Geckoleaf, but then I might get my warrior duties revoked!" He thought miserably. Still wheezing he weakly lay his head on his paws with a scowl on his scarred face, his fur slightly fluffed in frustration. The giant warrior looked rather imposing, but he didn't feel like it.

She let out a soft, nervous whine, afraid that the deputy would hate her; her ears flattened and her skin drained of heat. She was embarrassed and annoyed with herself, and was ready to just run out of the den, even if that wouldn't fix anything. Despite numerous experience with social situation, she still failed at grasping her own emotions; whatever she did, it didn't seem like she could even understand herself. Her throat was thick and she choked on her words; she quickly realized that if she couldn't speak, then she could act. Trying to clear her throat, she stood slowly, her legs still sore and stiff. She moved cautiously towards Blackgaze, not wanting to spook the molly in any way. The distance between their nests was short, and so she quickly reached the deputy's side. Still moving with deliberate sluggishness, she made a quick half-turn and lay down in the moss nest beside Blackgaze. She bit her bottom lip, feeling unsure of herself, but scooted next to the deputy, the heat radiating off of the other molly reassuring. She didn't smile; the situation was too awkward, but she did rest her head lightly on the moss beside Blackgaze's. "I... meant it..." inevitably she whispered gently, vibrant green eyes closing as she waited for the inevitable negative response.

Blackgaze seemed to freeze, almost as if the deputy was going into a trance. 'She's playin' with me.... she- she couldn't be telling the truth...' the inky warrior thought, letting herself sit up a bit so she could find herself in a more steady position. Taking in deep breaths, the deputy was completely silent. It wasn't a good kind of silent either; being the kind of silent that could kill the friendship of even the strongest of relationships. Not sure what to do, the black cat stood up on all four of her large paws and opened her jaws as if she was about to speak but no words seemed to come out of her, only air. Blackgaze took a few steps across the den. "I-I need time to think... alone." she finally stated as she took slow and almost fumbling steps towards the door entrance. Not thinking where she was going, as her mind was full of emotions and swirling with other thoughts, she bumped into the wall of the den right near the entrance. Giving a hissing noise of annoyance, the deputy fumbled blindly as her large paws felt the ground so she could find the entrance. Soon, she had found it, seeing how it wasn't too far from where she bumped into the wall, and Blackgaze left the warriors' den in a daze.

Cloversplash let out a soft huff at herself, watching the deputy move away with messy steps. Her ears flattened, and she tucked into a ball, not even taking the time to leave Blackgaze's nest. I messed up... Why do I always do this? No one will ever love me again, she thought to herself forlornly; after her first two mates, all successive attempts to find love had failed. Her eyes closed slowly, slick with tears. She let out a whimper, feeling hurt surge through her; not at the fact Blackgaze had walked away, but because she had blurted out something stupid and ridiculous. Her sides shook and she repressed loud sobs, simply quivering as waves of anger at herself, and sorrow for how she had injured the inky deputy.

Re: RiverClan Warriors' Den
Stepping into the warrior's den and having placed his prey down in the fresh-kill pile, Condorfish slowly made his way to her nest, he honestly loved coming here, the den was pretty cozy, sitting beside his nest, he waited for his apprentice. "Come on, Carppaw, don't be scared." He mewed softly to the shy apprentice, well, he knew a whole other side of the apprentice. The gray tabby had his tail curled around his paws as he waited for his apprentice to settle down in the big nest, well, that was compared to an apprentice's one, they were a lot bigger, and in all honesty, she was small and he knew perfectly that she had enough space, even he would have some left!

She was hesitant, but it was just for one night, right? Just so she was comforted. She looked around at the warriors around her, and then back at her mentor, and she breathed in before she padded up to him slowly, her steps soft and hesitant like she was afraid of stepping on another twig and a horde of dogs were coming after her. She gulped slightly, and quickened her pace a little until she reached the tom, and looked down at the rather large nest. She looked up at him, and smiled, some courage coming to her. She stepped into the nest, pawed it a moment before she layed down. It was weird that she was sleeping in the warriors den, but it would be like a kit with their father, fight? Nightmares causing them to come over and ask to sleep with their father, and the warrior letting them in. That was what this was like, right? She layed her head down, and waited to hear his pawsteps go to another nest or hear is voice.
