After being demoted, instead of listening and heading to the nursery (like any sane cat would've done), Cracklepaw beelined to the apprentices den and fell asleep as soon as he hit the moss. His dreams were beautiful, he imagined what he would've done to Bumblestar, he imagined snapping every weak little bone in her spine, he imagined watching the life drain from her eyes as he tore out her throat with glee. These dreams would go unfulfilled, due to him lacking the experience to take on the leader one on one. How dastardly unfortunate, but he just assumed he'd get his chance one day.
Waking up from the slumber, he still felt pissed about last nights occurrences. Cracklepaw scowled sleepily and decided he better get a move on. Rising with shaky movements, the lanky apprentices bundled up his nest and cast one last glance at the den. Ugh... who liked sleeping in this place anyway? It stunk like sweaty paws and old fur. Yuck... He was happy to leave this smelly place behind! Even though that meant leaving his apprentice ship along with it... Feeling the anger and hate rise through him once more, Crackle kicked the scant bedding that remained on the floor, and began to storm out of the den; only making temporary stops to kick apart some other apprentices nest. Amber eyes flitting at the new mess, he nodded in satisfaction and made way to the nursery.
