cobwebfern cast a soft smile at seabreeze, thankful for the help but knowing she could handle the 1-2-3-4-5-6 kits. huh. that was more than she thought, but she knew she'd be fine. she'd brought the herbs that she'd be teaching from the makeshift medicine den after a promise to berrypaw to bring them back once she was done. gently, she ushered the kits in her learning group over to a quieter corner and sat them down, modeling that they should do the same.
Softkit sat down. "Berrypaw is Daisykit's sister right?" Softkit wondered

Okay—good. Cats knew to go over to him. His announcement was loud enough. SalamanderKit came over. He cracked a small grin at the kits eagerness, though flinched back as the small thing barreled towards him. “I’s not qui-“ oh. Thank goodness the enforcer handled the let-down for the ball of energy. Now DuskLeaf was here too. That’s two cats.
“Hey Ca’fishKit.” He smiled at the familiar. She seemed to be quite bigger than typical kits. She’d most likely be an apprentice soon by the Loks of her, but who knew. He was a larger kit, probably her size by 3 or 4 moons.
He dipped his head in greeting to Goldfish. “A sim’le defense sh’tance woul’ work. We gotta wait for a few more ki’s” he stated. As he spoke StarryKit approached. Alright, there. Three out of Five kits! They were doing good so far, he was just enthusiastic to start.
He watched as ElderKit came from her den and seemed to join the group. He carefully padded up to the kit and crouched down to be a bit more on her level. “Hey El’erKi’? If you’re joinin’ defense you may wanna check in wit’ SeaBreeze. I don’ mind though.” He spoke kindly to the younger.
Hopefully it wouldn’t be an issue as StarryKit didn’t look very put-together on her own. Just a shyer kit maybe?
Two more kits….
Maybe they got lost? No it’s fine. Give them a minute RowanMane!
Caveclaw watched as all the kits arrived.
She would correct any mistakes.
"Shorekit, put your paws more like this, and raise your tail some, not to high." She said as she demonstrated, before turning to the others kit "If any of you feel something is off, feel free to ask."
They tried to sound as kind as possible, but Caveclaw's voice was usually pretty deadpan.
Her ear twitched as she looked at the other teachers/warriors.
As Algaebird approved her suggestion, Irisfrost saw a kit approaching them out of the corner of her eye. Turning her head to watch him, she noticed he was an older one, four or five moons. Interesting; she had assumed Aspenkit would be younger, young enough to not be alive or able to remember the raid when it happened.
Aspenkit asked if the class would cover clan weaknesses, and her eyes flickered to Algaebird as he explained the content to him. She hadn't thought of covering talents, but it would be useful. "That's fine with me," she told him before turning her attention back to the kit.
"What do you know about the other clans?" she asked Aspenkit. His age suggested that he would know something, and Irisfrost didn't want to teach him things he already knew.

Okay—5 kits and 2 cats to work with? He could do that. He didn’t know the cats he’d be working with well, though he was sure he’d seen them around. Then there was CatfishKit, who he was familiar with from the journey to the mountains. He somewhat expected the kit to be the one to choose defense.
He went to an area where cats didn’t seem to be going to have the class. “Anyone in defense, c’mere!” He called, scanning the crowd for the cats in his group.
Fishkit grumpily walked over.

Heroneye regarded all of the gathering kits. Since all the students had arrived, she decided to begin speaking to the class a bit before getting started; she didn’t want to start the class without the other teacher, but she also didn’t want the kits to grow impatient or start getting into trouble. She expected the other teacher to arrive shortly, anyway; it had only been a few moments, after all.
“Hello, everyone,” Heroneye greeted. Ugh, that wasn’t nearly enthusiastic enough! Couldn’t she at least offer a cheerier tone, or a big, genuine smile? The kits were probably all growing tired of her already. But she shook her head; overthinking everything would only make her look more unprepared, after all. “I’m Heroneye, one of the teachers for this class. Rainingpaw is also a teacher, and I expect she’ll be arriving shortly. As you know, in this class, you’ll be learning about some of your responsibilities as apprentices and warriors.” Simple enough, right?
“Can any of you name some of these responsibilities?” Okay, Heroneye was pretty sure that this was a decent start. Asking the class a question? Prompting engagement? That would help their learning, right? “And everyone, when you answer, please say your name nice and loud, so that we can all be introduced. If you can’t think of anything, don’t worry. That’s what this class is for, after all.” Other than Shellkit, who had just introduced himself, Heroneye had yet to learn the names of the students, and she wasn’t sure how familiar the kits were with each other, so she figured it would be best to have them all say their names then.

It seemed like modelling the crouch had been the way to go, with most of the kits picking up an acceptable position after a few adjustments made on their own. They all looked a little off, but that was to be expected. Plus, the crouch wasn't meant to be stationary. You were meant to MOVE. And after Caveclaw had provided a bit of feedback for all of the kits, Splashleap was going to encourage them to get moving. And maybe remind Rosekit and Shorekit to keep their tails up. They wouldn't make much sound here, in the rocky, sandy mountains, but in a marsh or in a thicket the leaves on the ground would be rustling.
Alright, good job kits! she purred, popping out of her own crouch for a moment. The next thing y'all need to try is moving around in that position. See what you have to change about it to make motion feel natural, and see how fast you can get around without making too much noise. She doubted they would have much trouble being quiet, the ground wasn't littered with crackly things, but it was worth reminding them. If your tail drags here you might not hear it, but if it's on the ground anywhere there are plants, any prey will notice you coming foxlengths away. With her instructions given Splashleap returned to her own crouch, stalking her way in a small circle. The kits were welcome to follow her, or chart their own paths to practice on. @Omari @CloudlessEve @KestrelPaw @ollie @beau @Idiotic.Bean101

Hehe, okay, time to learn!! Heroneye wanted him to list some clan duties... Uh... What had he seen his mother doing before?? To be honest, he wasn't very observant. He had no idea. Softkit, seemed to know a lot though! He tilted his head, listening to the cat talk. When it came to his turn, he still didn't have many ideas, but he hazarded a guess. "Shellkit!!" He shouted, shuffling his paws excitedly. "Uh, erm, maybe cleaning?"
