Foxstorm narrowed her eyes even more. "I will wait until the next Gathering. If I have Stormshadow there all nice and happy, I will drop this whole thing and not go after him. If he's not there, I will go to RiverClan and get him -and you won't tell anyone. Deal?" Foxstorm knew that there was no way her deal would backfire on her. Stormshadow could not be happy in RiverClan. It was impossible. There was no way. So her deal was really just to make sure Goldenclaw kept quiet. But then she realized that Goldenclaw could just say that he wouldn't tell, but tell anyway.
"You have to promise on StarClan that you will keep to your word," She added quickly. There. Now he wouldn't tell anyone once it was clear that Stormshadow was unhappy. She could carry out her plan without the danger of Goldenclaw. Foxstorm smiled faintly. It was all just too perfect.

Goldenclaw almost laughed at her right then and their. Did she really put that much trust in some words of promise on StarClan? That was all it took to gain her trust? Really? Well, that would be too easy then. "Fine. I promise on the great and holy StarClan not to tell," he said sarcastically, trying his hardest not to roll his eyes.

(Actually, in his bio, he's not the greatest believer in StarClan and part of his history is bad with them, so that kinda helps XD)

Foxstorm grinned. Good. Now he was bound by StarClan and couldn't tell a soul. Her plan was in motion. "Great," She meowed. "Now, if you'll excuse me I'll be leaving now." She turned around and was a bout to leave when she turned back around. "Oh, and I will expect to see you at the Gathering, yes? I don't think you will believe me if I say Stormshadow isn't there." She smirked at Goldenclaw. It would just be great to see the look on his face when he realized that she was right and that Foxstorm and Stormshadow were meant to be together.

(They didn't do anything to him, more like everyone adored and thought they did everything for them, so Goldenclaw thought it was necessary to break away from them to make it to the top by himself and not rely on him. It's kinda complicated and in my bio)
Goldenclaw rolled his eyes again. Whatever. "Yeah, yeah. Love, soulmatez, all that foxdung, yadayadayada..." he yawned. "Ya done going on your little insane speech? Some of us are actually needed in the Clan."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm done." Foxstorm rolled her eyes and stalked off. Toms. They would never get love. Love was beautiful, and clearly Goldenclaw didn't get that at all. She really wished she could scratch him up, but she decided he wasn't worth it. Besides, she didn't need to scratch him up. Foxstorm chuckled. She couldn't wait until the next full moon. Goldenclaw would be embarrassed for life, and she would get her Stormshadow back. Win-win.

Finchpaw’s jaw dropped in annoyance as Rookpaw took off, her swift start putting him way behind.

“Mouse dung!” he swore as he pushed of his legs, trying to catch up to Rookpaw.

How the heck was she that fast?! She was zooming right and left, Finchpaw was barley able to keep her in his vision.

Bitting his lip in frustration he pushed forward trying to gain on her.

Rookpaw navigated nimbly through the dark pines. She sometimes wished there was more wind in the forest. Her, maybe she was actually from WindClan. I mean, it wasn't like she knew her real parents anyway, who knew where they came from. Rookoaw was yet to learn all locations on the territory but she knew where a stream was and dashed towards it. Her paws sunk into the mud at it's edge slightly as she halted.
"Muahaha, victory is mine!" she meowed triumphantly.

Finchpaw barreled right into Rookpaw, his legs slightly slipping under him as he tried to stop in the mud. Bouncing off the she cat he shook his body, trying to get the mud off.

“That was unfair,” he spat, “you cheated.”

He narrowed his eyes at Rookpaw, his annoyance edging him on to push her into the stream. He shook the thought of and he looked around their surroundings.

They were by the biggest stream in Shadowclan territory. It wasn’t much to look at, there were parts of it that he bet he could jump calmly across. There was one section where the water got deeper, but no more then to the cats shoulders.

He slightly dipped his paw into the water and frowned. He still preferred staying dry but there was no way that he would tell Rookpaw that. She had already beat him at the race, there was no way he would let her be braver then him too.

Turning to Rookpaw he smirked.

“You may now need to prepare your applause,” he stated as he slowly started entering the water.

An incredibly smug look plastered upon Rookpaw's face, even if she did almost barrel roll into the stream as F8nchpaw ran into her. Her, amateur. Though Rookpaw was rather clumsy in daily life, her ability often inhanced under the right motivation, such as competition.
"Aww, you're just saying that cause you're a sore loserrrrr." she drawled. She had somewhat cheated with that surprise start but Rookoaw loved tricks and scenes. Mischief always made life more fun. At least, when you were the one inflicting it.
She rolled her eyes as Finchpaw attempted to begin swimming.
"Oh wow, I'm so impressed, you managed to enter a stream and not die immediately. They should call you Floatpaw. " she deadpanned.

Without missing a beat Finchpaw kicked his hindleg back, causing water to splash backwards, all over Rookpaw.

He looked over his shoulder in mocked horror.

“Ops”

He looked forwards again and let his body sink a little lower into the water. He had to pull his paws up to do a small paddle but the shallowness along with his inexperience in water made him look clumsy and rather stuck. Not that he noticed.

He turned and attempted a half swim/ half paw drag back towards Rookpaw.

“It’s not that hard,”he declared. Coming back to shore he gave himself a drying shake. “Although I now see why Riverclan cats are so slow, they must lose brain cells floating around like that. Alright let’s see if you could do better.” he challenged
