Silkpaw was willing to admit that he jumped when Tigerpaw approached him, but he quickly settled. His fur lay against his frame once again as he took in deep, slow breaths.
He approached the younger apprentice, and his stomach dropped with the movement.
The dark furred apprentice was so much braver than he was, and very kind to try to comfort him.
How silly, that he as the older apprentice was the one that needed comfort.
He ducked his head, and his tail twitched.
"I'd appreciate it.... Thank you, Tigerpaw. I'm Silkpaw."
The lilac-point shuffled his paws, and he had to refrain from looking around. He knew if he saw it again, he'd likely lose whatever was left in his stomach from his last meal. Tigerpaw really didn't deserve to have to deal with that.
"I'd like to- to move a bit further away, if we could." He asked quietly.

Tigerpaw knew what it was like to feel the way Silkpaw felt in fact she was the one who found her parents when they died.Sorry if I startled you I thought you would have heard me coming because of how big my paws are. Um.. where exactly would you like to go I would say the apprentice den but I was in there and you can still smell the smell. Then Tigerpaw saw how Silkpaw had a weird expression on his face.Listen don't think of it think of were you want to go just not the body ok.

A little black paw swings down, gently aimed to try and clamp Wildkit's tail to the ground.

"Got you, Mosquitokit whispers, watching her closely to gauge what sort of reaction a surprise attack like this might get—even if he's not successful in pinning her tail down, he's still proud of ambling...uh...mostly stealthily up here to begin with.

"Oh," Mosquitokit hops back, first looking alarmed and then strangely delighted. That was basically a playfight. It was fun, whatever it was. He shakes off, breathing a small laugh through his dark nose.

"S'okay, I-I startled you. Sorry, also. I was—I wanted t'see what'd happened. Uh," is that mean to do? He hopes not. "You can get my tail. Uh, next time. So we're even, okay?"

Wildkit sighed with relive that her friend had taken no offense. OK, I'll get your tail right now then. Wildkit pokes her friend's tail. there now were even. Wildkit gives her friend a friendly nuge but not too hard. Or so she thought. She is slowly getting stronger but its so bad she doesn't realize her own strength that's why she only has a few friends.Im so sorry..... i.. i .... didn't mean to do it that har... hard. He's just delighted, truth be told. Maybe apprenticeship won't be so bad, once this kid's made it that far, because he seems pretty excited to start practicing already, but—oh! Not if his friend's going to be upset!

Mosquitokit's expression falls. "Y'r okay Wildkit, s'just play! I-I'm alright, see,"

He does a spin to prove his point. He staggers over his paws just a little (he's yet to really grow into them, the awkwardly proportioned li'l guy), but it's clear that he is otherwise unharmed.

"It was fun. And, uh. I'm not gonna hit y'r head over stuttering. That'd jus', uh, make it w-worse I think," he murmurs, plopping back down with a thoughtful frown. "An' anyway. Talking's hard. S'alright if you can't—uh, if you have a...it's alright, alright?"

He's not really sure how to word his own thoughts; further proof of talking being hard, perhaps. Mosquitokit just knows that he doesn't want Wildkit to feel like she has to get whacked in the head any time she trips over a sentence.
