Still a tad rattled from the “hunting” concept Marigoldpaw froze when Dawnstar said her name, but luckily it seemed that wasn’t what this was about. No, this seemed to be about...mentor...reassignments!? Once again Marigoldpaw froze, while she wasn’t the friendly type she’d somehow managed to build a bond with her (former?) mentor, Adderfang, and hearing she was getting a new one....well that wasn’t fun. Already disliking this Marigoldpaw stiffly stepped forward and looked towards Applesheep or whatever they were called.

as the meeting went on, wolfwhisper would numbly chant out the new apprentices' names. the whole usual ritual. usually he would smile, get a good ol' positive feeling because kits were growing up! that was a good thing! one day he'll get his own apprentice and blah blah, it was good. of course it was good.

only thing that was bothering wolfwhisper was dawnstar's previous announcement. he was so doomed. with the choice of her words the tom was.. pretty sure he wouldn't end up dead. just wish he was. sure she could mean anyone but, he didn't think he saw any other cats being friendly!

wolfwhisper slowly shrunk down, bringing his tail closer to himself. awaiting for the meeting to end so he could get his wounds checked. repeating a simple phase in his head, over and over. oh no. oh no. oh no.

Oh? They were mentored? That's decent. Lightningeyes looked around for their apprentice, standing up and giving out a mysterious glance at every cat. He remained silent as he looked around for Snowpaw. Where might the apprentice be? They didn't know exactly who Snowpaw was, but they might have a chance to know them...decently. In all honesty, they didn't feel like they were mentor material though, but they would go ahead and try to at least train this apprentice. Hopefully they knew plenty.

Nightfur's tail raised. Finally, an Apprentice! He could show off his skills to somecat other than enemies! Somecat who'd be watching and would, hopefully, live to tell about how great their Mentors skills were and how they were taught by only the best. He went over to Fallowpaw. "Hey! Looks like we were put together as Mentor and Apprentice! Nice to meet'cha!"

Gorsesong scored the earth with his claws. He was happy he got an Apprentice, but for some reason he was also upset with being chosen to have a Mentor at a time like this; of course it'd be great to train some others but the fact that he had to while WindClan was still probably bitter about the battle was making him anxious, like, an angry-anxious.

He ignored his feelings and went to Silverpaw, giving the Apprentice a push with his tail. "Alright, looks like I'm stuck with you and you're stuck with me."

Ashenpaw watched from the medicine cats den, half-conscious

Poisonpaw smiled a bit, he liked poison, not that he didn't miss Venom. Hopefully, he'd get it back when he was a warrior. He smiled up at his mentor with teeth on display, "I won't! When do we get started?" he asked, his tail whipping around in excitment.

Tigerlily groaned at having an apprentice but this one seemed... able somehow. Like he'd be worth a rat's tail. He padded forward, leaving his beloved behind for a moment, and stood next to Ashenpaw. "We start training now young one." he growled, not caring about his condition. He'd be able to gather moss and water for the queens and elders. Then they would work on his idiocy.

Snowpaw looked around for Lightningeyes so she could start. After spotting them she padded up with a bounce in her step and smiled. "Hi, I'm Snowpaw!"

Ashenpaw, looking very much like he was half cobwebs, half cat, watched silently as his new mentor padded over to him. Tigerlily, huh? He didn't know there was a Tigerlily in the clan, but then again, he didn't bother learning the names of most of his clanmates. The handsome tom lifted his head high, ignoring the pain blooming from the bite wound on the back of it, to stare his mentor in the eye, his gaze unwavering despite his throbbing injuries. Now? That didnt really seem all that logical to him. "Hate to disrupt your dreams, but I dont think it would do much good for me to train right now, seeing as im very obviously unable to even walk" he frowned slightly, green eyes narrowing a bit.
