The black and white kit hadn't really taken much notice of Brightkit's blind gaze - but he had somewhat noticed it then. He didn't know what a blind orb looked like, so he didn't understand it's glazed appearance. But it kind of sent a tiny shiver through his spine. Despite this, he knew that the molly was kind and felt too awkward to point it out and question her about the green orb. He instead tried to act like he hadn't noticed the difference between the heterochromatic eyes. Summitkit followed her with his gaze as she headed away and began their game, making him hold back a laugh at her gait. Without much hesitation, the small tom bolted towards her and tried to look as fierce as a two moon old kit could. "Rawr, I'm a fox and I'm here to eat your kits!" His goofy grin set off the tone that he was hoping for, and a small laugh escaped. Summit quickly shut his jaws to stop from laughing anymore and tried to seem serious, meeting Brightkit's heterochromatic gaze with his own green one. "Surrender them now or else!" The tomkit lowered himself into a terrible excuse for a crouch, but with zero training he thought that it seemed like a good one.

Brightkit jumped a little, her expression surprised for a moment before she grinned. She was hardly menacing, especially with her bicolored hues staring at you, besides her grin and the playful gleam in her eye generally disintegrated any thoughts you might have of her being the least bit scary. "Give up now, fox! You will never get our kits with me guarding them!" She mewed, lowering herself into her own crouch. Her tail lashed back and forth in the most menacing way she could muster, although if anyone were to see it, they would probably take it that she wasn't being serious. She hardly looked serious- being a four moon old kit and having no training, she didn't even really know how to look scary. It wasn't a big deal to her, she expected that the "terrifying" aspect would come with training. And then everyone can feel safe, she thought with satisfaction. It was definitely satisfying to know that she would someday be protecting the Clan and providing for it. Brightkit wondered whether she should wait for Summitkit to make his move first or go ahead and make hers. Her head cocked to the side slightly and her smile seemed to brighten as she made up her mind. Moving so quickly that it looked nearly impossible for her, Brightkit's paw shot out and she batted at Summitkit's face, pretending to be clawing him without actually doing so. She would have hated herself if she had accidentally hurt him- there was almost nothing Brightkit hated more than betraying a friend's trust or hurting a friend.
