RiverClan Elders' Den

Riverwing padded into the den hoping to see crookeddrop for she wanted to hear a story, she thought to herself “ will crookeddrop say no since I’m a warrior and not an apprentice?” I then replied in my mind “ I’m a new warrior so she wouldn’t mind sharing” she waiting at the entrance, while waiting she promised herself to go hunting after this.

Sitting in the den she watches the cats play around and talk to each other. Grooming her matted fur she struts out of the elder den smelling the sweet watery air.

Puddlekit was bored, so he padded into the elders den, hoping one of the elders needed help or would tell him a story.

Iriskit padded into the elder's den, a trout dangling from her jaws, its head nearly brushing the ground as she moved forward. She'd heard rumors that this was the place to go if she wanted a story or two. She was getting a tad old - nearing 6 moons in age and all - but she would never think herself too old for a good ol' story. "Hello?" She tentatively called, not wanting to startle anyone who was dozing. "Anyone hungry?" The kitten had cleverly thought to bring a gift (bribe) along for whoever was willing!

Sleepybubble had just almost dozed off a second time since she’s woken up. It wasn’t to late in the day either. But everything was fine, this was her life as a forest cat and she didn’t mind it. She actually preferred it much better than getting lost in the forest all the time.

The once peaceful den turned into the familiar mews— mew— of a kit. Ah. she had kits once. Their all off to a warriors life now. She turned her head to the kit, “Hello there young one!” she mewed happily, her jaw parted to show a large grin.
“Is this for me?” she asked looking at the prey the kit dragged in.

Whitekit padded in. "asking the elders can I have a story please!" She squeaked

Iriskit looked around the den for a moment. It was fairly large like the others, but also almost empty - a contrast to the constantly full nursery, apprentice den, and warrior den. It was quiet and reminded her of where she had been born - though her memory of all that seemed to fog as the moons passed.

She perked as a voice rose from one of the mounds of moss in the den, green gaze lighting as Sleepybubble turned her way. "Hi!" She meowed around the fish. The kitten would already be smiling back if not for the prey occupying her mouth. She bounded over to the she-cat, almost tripping over the tail of the trout in her eagerness. "Of course!" She answered, dropping the prey at her paws, grinning now at the elder. "Can I eat with you?"

Excitement flooded through her, she hasn’t eaten with another cat since she’s left the warriors den to join the elders! No other elder ever talked to her. Or maybe she was just to busying sleeping. Meals were so much better when sharing with another cat.

She looked down at the prey, ”Of course!” she mewed. Thank you.” she said, taking a whiff of the yummy looking trout.
“What’s your name Little one?” she asked.

"Sleepybubble?"

Plumstorm dips her head into the elder's den. As her eyes adjust, she looks around for the older she-cat. The silver warrior came with a rather peculiar, but reasonable request of the elder. She hoped that she'd be up for it today. Whiskers twitching impatiently, Plumstorm slides further into the den.

"I'd love to ask a favor of you, if you'd hear it."
