Mossywing stepped into the elders den, a bundle of moss in his jaws. "Hello, I've brought you some fresh moss." He said cheerfully. He placed the moss beside the elder. "Is there anything else you need?" He mewed.

"I've brought fresh moss!" Mossywing mumbled as loud as he could through the moss in his mouth as he stepped into the elders den.

Lightkit padded silently in to the den and looked around nervelessly. She had come to ask to for a story but now when she was here she wasn't sure what to do, it felt a bit rude to just go up to someone and ask...

Blackkit was sitting in her nest in the nursery, getting bored by the second, it then hit her.. she sprang up up and went running into the clearing before she had the chance of entering the elders den she saw a weird looking dryer leaf 🍃 she then crouches down into the hunters crouch (which she had seen the apprentices doing) she copied it as best as she could, she slowly moved toward the dryer up leaf which she pretended was a mouse 🐁, she than sprang on it and caught the leaf in her jaws, she then spit it out, then she padded to the fresh kill pile and picked a plump fish 🐠 and went into the elders den, she dropped the fish and said “ can any elder please tell me a story?” “I also go a fish if any of you want it” she then waited for a response.

Stormtalon paused in front of the Elder's den, verdant green eyes adjusting to the sunlight as he searched for a (now familiar) white pelt. Vinepaw was nearing the end of her sentence. He hadn't been able to spend as much time as he wanted with the she-cat, but Vine had opted to help with fortifying RiverClan, and that was a good indicator of her dedication. They stood shoulder to shoulder and scooped out muck to bind with reeds.

However that was war preparation; what would Vinepaw have to say about a common, non-romanticized apprentice chore? Stormtalon decided to test it out. See how she reacted. If the warrior-apprentice accepted it humbly and worked hard, he might be convinced to pass on a favorable report to Kestrelstar. It all depended on her.

"Vinepaw - come here," the tabby called, voice level but loud enough to reach her. "I would like you to change out the elder's moss today."

(So Vinepaw has a sharp tongue, and will always have one, but is currently dedicated to recieving her warrior name back. She has a similar personality to Yellowfang from the official books. She is also keen to picking up on things, as part of her backstory is she had a tough mentor. She had to learn when she was being tested or other things similar.)

"Ah, not a surprise. I ain't no mouse-brain. I'll go do this, but don't you dare call me Vinepaw. I don't care if that's my current name, it ain't my spirit." She set of out of camp to go to the sleeping thicket to gather some moss.

"If you're not a mouse-brain, accept the title you earned. You're Vinepaw until you prove yourself worthy of your warrior name," Stormtalon challenged with a cocked brow. Matter-of-fact.

Don't get him wrong -- it might seem like Storm disliked her, and while that was absolutely correct, he still wanted Vinepaw to succeed. Honest to stars. RiverClan endured enough embarrassment already without putting one of their warriors through a second apprentice training; as much as he might claim Vinepaw earned it, Stormtalon preferred permanent demotion as a last resort.

He followed after the she-cat, meaning to help her with the task.

@Ziera "What are you following me for?" the older apprentice/warrior asked. "Cant a cat get some moss in peace?" she asked, and when she got to the sleeping thicket found a ton of moss. a wad of moss in her mouth kept her from talking anymore. "lef fet ak to the mamp"

Stormtalon ignored the question. He spent his time helping Vinepaw fish enough moss for the elder’s den, then opted to do the work alongside her again, switching out the old ones.

After some time, he nodded at the warriorprentice. “Good work, Vinepaw.” The title was used without malice. “I’ve nothing else for you today.”
