Shadepaw sat a little worried, he knew Dawnstar wasn't anyone to mess around with but he couldn't help but feel a little threatened by her comment. I mean like he's been a loyal cat from the beginning right, so why was he worried (Hey why was my name mentioned )

Venomkit stepped forward without bumping into anyone, a feat for him, and raised his head high as he awaited to accept his mentor and gain the suffix paw. Excitment coursed through him as he waited.

Her eyes slowly counted each kit upon arrival as she casually drew her tongue over her bloody paw. She'd actually need to wash them, a tongue bath was doing little to nothing for cleaning.

"From this day on, until you receive your warrior names, you will be known as Mintpaw [ @jayfeather21 ], Fallowpaw [ @spade ], Frostpaw [ @MooingPanda ], Silentpaw [ @ChillCat ], Gingerpaw[ @Rockfall ], and Whisperpaw. [ @Slushie ]." It was rare to have all the kits presents, it was a delightful sight.

"You," Raising one crimson paw she pointed to the last kit in the lineup. "Need a name change, Poisonpaw [ @Exis ]." ShadowClan already had a Venompaw, having two would be beyond confusing.

"Aspenshadow [ @leopardstrike4], I trust you'll be able to handle Frostpaw's training.

Thornclaw [ @Leafì ], take care of Poisonpaw.

"Nightfur [ @cunning ], it's time you've taken an apprentice, Fallowpaw will be yours.

"Goldenclaw [ @Kyrieknight ], you have Mintpaw.

"Meadowdust [ @The Flying Pizza ] you'll take care of Gingerpaw.

"Wolfstrike [ @Feathercreek ], I want you to train Silentpaw.

"Mumblemuzzel [ @Angell ], make something out of Whisperpaw."

Picking out mentors was always irritating for Dawnstar. She lacked faith in many of her warriors, and even worse trust, she'd need to see about gathering allies. The few she had faith in seemed to have disappeared and it concerned her to no end. There was no way she'd even bother changing who she was, Dawnstar would just have to see about seeking out like-minded cats, her clan couldn't be that full of softhearted morons and weak-willed mice, there had to be a few real predators among them.

"Darkpaw, Pumpkinpaw [ @Willowfern ], Pinepaw [ @Bread ], Marigoldpaw [ @Wolfgirl8 ] , Frecklepaw [ @feather lily ], Snowpaw, Ashenpaw [ @Jackpot] , Badgerpaw [ @Angelique ], Silverpaw [ @Fae ], Bumblepaw [ @Ella_heart] , Whitepaw [ @Fierceclaw ], and Brackenpaw [ @Peril ]. No clue where your mentors are, don't really care. Since none of spoke to me about an assessment, I can assume none of you are ready yet. Some of you are older, I would suggest making sure that your mentor takes your training seriously. It would be a pity if I have to kick you out of the clan for being lazy." She hissed out the warning, claws sliding out as a sharp jolt of pain went through her nerves as she agitated her neck wound. That was certainly going to be looked at, it was irritating her.

More warriors, she needed more warriors, it would be nice if they were competent, but Dawnstar felt like that was asking for too much. Pumpkinpaw might make something out of himself with the right training, she didn't see much potential in the rest, however. Who knew, maybe some might prove her wrong.

"I've brought you a new warrior, an outsider, who so far I hold more faith in than even my clan-born warriors." Was it not sad when their own leader trusted some stranger she just met over her own clanmates. He had more potential in him than the majority of her clanmates had in a single toe. He wasn't a walking disappointment just an annoying one. "Grimhound [ @spade ] will be Badgerpaw's new mentor." Dawnstar felt better keeping those worth something to her together. It was easier to watch them. Badgerpaw she trusted more than Grimhound, with some time maybe her favorite apprentice will rub off on her new mongrel.

This time, Goldenclaw let out a very quiet groan. Seriously? Him, a mentor? What was Dawnstar thinking? Then again, she had bees in her brain in the first place, but whatever. Why did he have to deal with the younger cats? Rather begrudgingly, he trudged to his new apprentice, ears flat. "Pleasure to meet you..."

Lynxstalk sighed,oh an apprentince,cool she sighed. He padded up to his new apprentice and touched his nose to Whitepaw. She offered a smile to Whitepaw,she had gone on patrol with the whitepaw before they turned away,focusing back on dawnstar with a cold stare. Whitepaw after this meeting were going hunting training,battle training,then we do a spar,its a pretend battle but with claws unsealthed,you will need it for your test at the need of your apprenticeship,Also is there any training you have had before Honey? He asked the younger shecat.
