His eyes fixed straight forward, and he remembered the last time he had walked through here, on this path. It had been a while since him and Dappledshadow were a thing. He wondered briefly if she still thought of him. Or rather, looked down at him.

His paws weren't as light and graceful as their's was, his were scuffing up the sand and leaving deep pawsteps in the ground. He wasn't fat- he refused to consider this explanation- maybe, it was muscle or something. That's what he told himself, after all. It still irritated him, that he seemed so beastly next to such a gentle-footed cat.

Glancing around and looking down at the water they let out a soft breath. They were prepared to curl up in a nest and go to bed once they reached the camp. Blinking over towards Blizzardwind before giving him a gentle smile.

He shrugged. "A little. But I'm not exhausted, just my nest sounds real comfy right about now." The camp walls should be in sight soon, but he would find it sooner or later, either he runs into it or see's it. Whatever, most cats couldn't think less of him!
