Eelpaw had somehow gotten themselves a warrior. Somehow. They didn't know how or why they'd managed to get a warrior but here they were staring at some warrior trying their best not to blink. Blinking made cats go bye bye and before Eelpaw started anything they would need to make sure this cat was blink safe. That if they blinked this other cat would not... go poof. Like so many else had done. So slowly they moved closer and closer and then sat and stared at them before blinking slowly and when they didn't disappear, Eelpaw reached up and booped their nose with a paw. "You won't leave will you?"

Berryscorch was extremely confused by this peculiar request. BerryMentor?? What kind of nickname was that? But she didn’t quite see any harm in it, so she supposed she’d allow it—for now. If it got to be irritating in some way later on, she’d revoke the permission. “Sure, I suppose. And yes, Blizzardsky. You’re allowed to allow that, or deny it, if you want.” Personally, she was hoping the name “ReallyBigCat” would stick.

Pushing aside the thoughts, she refocused her attention on Ebonypaw’s form, as he dropped back into the crouch and took another shot. It was slightly disappointing that the leaves and twigs still rustled below as the apprentice moved across the ground, but they still had plenty of time to work out the kinks. At least the spring and landing were acceptable, and he’d managed to avoid tripping over a pebble. ”Decent job. Still a tad too loud, but you’ll get there with practice. I suppose you’re ready to attempt a little bit of real prey next.”

Beckoning with her tail, she silently instructed Ebonypaw to come further into the wooded area of the territory. “Be very quiet. There’ll be more prey in here. First, part your jaws and scent the air. Tell me if you can scent any prey nearby.”

They were being stared at. They were being stared at, and they could do nothing but stand there because they'd signed up for this. They were being stared at and could do nothing but stare back at the apprentice doing the staring and causing the staring.
And even when they thought they were done with staring, the damn apprentice pulled one over on them and slid close to their face while STILL staring, so they couldn't stop staring.
"Uh... No... I can't..." Sassafrasfire finally replies, not tearing their eyes away from Eelpaw.

"Snow is a great advantage with my white fur, but since my furs long it sort of drags me down.", Cottonstrike responded. Soon he would blend in perfectly with his environment. If they had any battles out in it he would surely surprise someone.

Ashpool padded out into the territory alongside the younger warrior. "This part is fine to hunt in. It's not too close to the camp", she meowed. She didn't really care where they hunted as long as they weren't near the camp. They wouldn't find too much or even anything.

Lotusheart nodded and sniffed the air. Her hose caught the whiff of mouse. She located the small mammal and got ready to pounce. As she did, an inconveniently-grown root blocked her path. She hissed mid-pounce and fell flat on her face, scaring the mouse away

"Oops." she said, shaking her pelt and the dirt that was on it.

Eelpaw tried their best not to blink but when the cat said they wouldn't leave, Eelpaw fell into the temptation and blinked their eyes in one extremely fast blink that didn't exactly do much but they'd blinked and the other cat had not disappeared. It meant... it meant that it was okay to blink. And because this cat... Sadsassa? Something like that, Eelpaw hated that they'd not gotten the name correct but... it was the best they could do. Names were hard at the best of times and therefore... unless the other Sir? Misses? corrected them, Eelpaw would try their best. So they moved forward and wrapped their paws around their leg in their customary greeting to cats that were largely bigger than them. "I'm Eek...Eelpaw! And you're... nice! Because you're not like Mr. Crazy. Mr. Crazy was crazy... like crazy crazy, always happy and smiling, you're Sadsassa right? Or something like that!" They hoped they'd not messed the name up too badly. If they did it meant they would fall into the same category as Mr. Crazy

"Good Idea". Mewed Heatherwing and led the way into their territory. She imediatly scented a mouse, and began to stalk it.

Ashpool padded out of the camp, leading her first apprentice into the territory. She was just as excited as Twigpaw. "What part of the territory do you know and want to visit. If you don't know I'll pick a random place to start.", she meowed.Ashpool really wanted to give Twigpaw a choice. It was mostly about him anyway.
