Silentkit nodded eagerly, though he didn't really understand what "train" was. He could only read lips, and, well, many words were still new to him. But he still was excited. "Siwentkif and Veelotkith trein togethr!!" he exclaimed, and he liked how the word "train" felt in his throat when he said it.

"Yeah!", Violetkit meowed excitedly. Silentkit was definitely her best friend along with Mistpaw, so she was very excited to be with him in the apprentices den.

Silentkit nodded again, trying to catch up with what Violetkit was saying. Her jaws moved so fast... And only then did he notice the big, juicy trout that Violetkit had given to the elders. "Iz feesh ful allderz? Feesh lok gid!" he exclaimed, bending down to examine the prey. "Hoo kaught feesh?"

"My friend Mistpaw and her friend Hailpaw", Violetkit said misheviously. In her mind Mistpaw liked Hailpaw a bit more than a friend, but she was glad Mistpaw was making friends.

Silentkit smiled, and tried to imagine how it felt to hunt, fight, and be an apprentice. He couldn't believe that he too, will soon sleep in the apprentice den. "Masthpuw and Helpuw iz hoo? Silentkit nodded and glanced up at Violetkit. At first he flicked his ear in protest when she licked it, but he soon stopped and leaned against her, calmed by the feeling of Violetkit's rough tongue. "Proo-nonse?" he finally asked. "Wut iz proo-nonse?"
