Cloverkit shook her head at Rookpaw's response. "No way! I'm becoming a leader! Medicine Cat is out of the question. Sure, talking with StarClan is cool and healing helps your clanmate, but its not as good as a leader, who has all the power!" he chirped, green eyes wide. Rookpaw was being very nice to Cloverkit, and he liked that! "Yup yup yup! ShadowClan is the best clan!" he said excitedly. Wow, making friends with a fish was easier than Clover thought. She grinned at Rook, her fluffy brown pelt standing up every which ways. "Ima be an apprentice in just a moon! I wonder who my mentor would be. Could be some nobody whos boring, but imagine if it's Mistlewhisker or Dawnstar! That would be awesome!!!" she cheered, her tiny body wriggling with excitement at the thought. "Hey! Idea! You could teach me something so I have a head start! Then I can impress my future mentor even more!! How does that sound? Wouldn't that be cool?" He asked, green eyes wide with happiness.

rookpaw shrugged, big ambitions, the young kit spoke like the only two paths were the ones of a leader and medicine cat, rookpaw knew it wasnt like that. "wherever you end up, may starclan light your path" she briefly considered lecturing the kit on the responsibility a leader holds, the morals of leading dozens of cats, but her conversation partner was a kit, a mere child, too young to grasp the concept of moral and thinking about others before you think of yourself. "i hope i'll be more or less with my training in a moon, im long overdue already." that was a lie. she had matured a lot since she had last rolled this thought around, but she still didnt want her warrior name. "oh i dont think that'll be a good idea..not that i wouldnt like to, im just..i dont think lostspark would like that"
Sleepypaw sat in a corner of camp silently observing life playing out in front of her while Smolderingpaw lazily lounged in the shade, side-eyeing anyone who dared approach him.

rookpaw hovered near the nursery, with enough distance to not seem weird or threatening, more so as if she was close just by chance. in truth, she missed seeing kits around, she could only see marigoldkit during the night and didnt want to bother her that often and she didnt feel confident enough to seek out the kits herself just yet. so she just stayed close enough that a curious kit could make its way over to her no issue. days had passed, lostsparks promised moon was to be over. just a quarter moon left. it made her more restless than the initial rule had done. now that it was practically just a paws reach away.

She yawned. she knew she should have gone to sleep last night, fox dung. now she's tired. well what now? maybe start thinking on what to train Floodpaw. curious little thing, always getting into trouble. oh yea the new medicine cat apprentice is going to be named soon. she wondered who it would end up being. well might as well grab some food. how long was she sleeping for anyway? whatever-. she grabbed a piece of prey and started eating it next to a tree stump in camp.

rookpaw was scouting for another unsuspecting member of shadowclan to be forcefully introduced to her, one that didnt look like they would whack her upon approaching. she ultimately settled on a light tabby that had just grabbed a mouse and returned to a more secluded spot to eat. they didnt really look like they would immediately react negatively, especially not because rook had been around for almost three quarter moons now and most cats seemed to have more or less accepted her. "heya, dont think ever got your name?" mayhaps this was a bit weird as the opening to a conversation with what was essentially a stranger, but speaking to someone without knowing their name wouldve been silly. especially because she was almost sure the other would be well aware of her own name, dawnstar had introduced her after all.
