Mousepaw deposited his catch along with Brackenpaw’s, and suddenly caught a scent.
He dashed off in the direction and, sure enough, he saw a rabbit! It wasn’t the best prey, it looked a bit old, but it would do nonetheless.
Quickly he pounced upon it as it bent down to nibble something growing out of the frosty ground.
Mousepaw returned, dragging the rabbit.
“How’s this for a catch?” He smiled.

She smiled, "Perfect! You wanna go back to the fox den to rest up a bit before taking this back to camp?" She asked.

She smiled and picked up some of the prey. Leaving two pieces for Mousepaw to carry, the rabbit and the vole. She trotted off towards the den.

Mousepaw grabbed the rabbit and the vole, following Brackenpaw back to the fox den.

When they reached the fox den, she carefully made her way down the slope so she didn't drop they prey. She reached the bottom and went into the back with the nest. She set her pieces of prey by the bouquets and layed in the nest to rest her paws. She began to clean the vlood off of her paws and looked to check if Mousepaw was still following.

“I’ve had fun hanging out with you,” Mousepaw purred, sitting next to his new friend, “Thank you for showing me this place,” He motioned around the den, “It’s really cool!”

She smiled, "Same here. Glad I have a friend who can relate to me with my Loner background." She said smiling. She finished cleaning her paws and admired the flowers they had gotten. She rolled on her back and stared at the earthen ceiling.

“Brackenpaw, I am too,” Mousepaw copied her and lay on his own back, “So... What do we do now?” He chuckled a bit, “I’m kidding. Anyway, Do you have any other friends?”

She shook her head, "Not really, just a few cats I talked to like once." she replied. She looked at the various cracks in the dirt and the roots that were hanging around here and there.
