"Foxpaw, stay with Charredpaw. I need moss and cobwebs to patch him up so he can be brought to camp before he bleeds."

She didn't let Foxpaw refuse or object and ran off to get moss to stop the bleeding and cobwebs to make the moss stay as they moved him and continue holding his blood in.

Flyfur found a small amount of moss and brought it back before going to find cobwebs. Instead of bothering with a stick, she wrapped it around her legs and hurried back.
She quickly started applying the moss and adding pressure for a few seconds before awkwardly wrapping the cobwebs to keep it secure. She only applied to the biggest wounds, the ones gushing the most blood.
It didn't need to be pretty and it wasn't meant to be permanent.
She turned back to Foxpaw.
"Run ahead to camp. Go, now so Fawnsqueak and get together what he needs to help Charredpaw."
She hoped he held together at least until she made it back to camp.

The small tabby had loads of energy to burn and even with the trot her mentor was keeping Willowpaw was rapidly outpacing her by sheer energy alone not even mentioning the speed she'd been gaining as she grew. Her excitement fuelled her as she darted around examining everything and anything before remembering the other she cat and returning to her side, only to get distracted soon after. Snowfern was gonna teach her to swim! This was the most important lesson ever! Willowpaw could only hope she was any good at it, if she wasn't she was going to be devastated.
"Snowfern! What if I turn out to be bad at swimming?! What if I can barley paddle, what if you need a tail to swim well? I dont have one of those! If I cant swim I cant be riverclan and what happens then!" The small apprentice blurted suddenly. Her fur was puffed up slightly and eyes wide as she looked up at Snowfern while keeping pace, just starting to work herself into a panic.

Snowfern smiled as she watched her apprentice dart around, seemingly without a care in the world. As she trotted leisurely along, she felt herself relax a bit, her shoulders slacking as she gazed around. It felt...nice to be able to just relax again. her eyebrows shot up in surprise at the hesitation from willowpaw. Now, that was unexpected. Normally the spotted she-cat was confident in what she did, so this as relatively new to Snowfern. "You're going to be fine, I promise" she purred, resting her tail tip on willowpaw's shoulder. "you don't need a tail to swim. And you definately won't be kicked out if you have some trouble. Everyone struggles a bit at first!" she assured, smiling warmly down at her apprentice

Once they were a relatively good distance out into the territory, Berryscorch signaled for Ebonypaw and Blizzardsky to catch up. Her hopes weren't exactly too high. After all, both her previous apprentices had gone missing midway through their first training sessions. But perhaps this one would be different.

"Blizzardsky, make sure you pay attention during this. I'll be testing you on your teaching ability later." With that out of the way, the molly turned to her apprentice.

"Ebonypaw, come up front here. I want you to demonstrate your best attempt at a hunter's crouch. Don't worry if it's not perfect at first. That's what this lesson is for."

Hunters crouch. Hmm. Oh yeah, he'd seen the apprentices practicing it! Ebonypaw crouched, his long tail brushing the ground. He looked hopefully at his mentor. "Am I doing it right?" he asked hopefully. It would be so awesome if he got it on his first try.

Smallsky quirked a brow as she lingered in deeper watchers, the top of her head and small of her back and flank were the only things above water, black pelt making her look like a stepping stone. "Well, I think that's flawed thinking... if all leaders were good at everything, they wouldn't need nine lives?" Smallsky asked before blowing small bubbles into the water.

The apprentice looked up at Snowfern with an unusually serious gaze taking in her words. If her mentor said it'd be fine it would be, Snowfern knew best after all. Spirits up again Willowpaw nodded, determined again and turned to the pond. Maybe another cat would approach this with cation and grace, thinking before they act and dipping a paw in before they first got wet. But this was Willowpaw. With a war cry of "RAAAAAARG!" she went charging and crashing into the shallows (sticking to where she could still stand) getting her and any poor cat within splash radius soaking wet. She was in the water! That was the first step wasn't it? Well that was done and easy and as soon as Snowfern told her what to do next she was gonna ace the next steps to!
