Blizzardwind was already in the clearing when he saw Kestrelstar bound up upon the Streamstone, and padded forward lurchingly. If this meeting consisted of another death, he wouldn't know what he would do. But did any death matter to him anymore? He knew that everyone in his life would die eventually, as he would, so why grieve? And if that was true, why was it hard for him to stop grieving?

Birdpaw bounded out of her den, for once a solemn expression on her face. She hoped this meeting would be a happy one.

Streamkit's eyes fill with a bitter sadness and he falls silent.
'You wouldn't know my mother. She's missing.' He thinks to himself as he glares at the ground.

Plumstorm appears from the warrior's den, her pelt somewhat ruffled. She had been having a weird dream. Thankfully it wasn't cryptic or anything, just... What in the world was Kestrelstar doing with a giant crab?!?!?!?

She picks a spot towards the edge of the group of cats, though not to the back. Blinking up at the tom, she smiles a little. He seemed in better spirits. Maybe he really had been dancing with a monster crab???

Sliding back into camp from an earlier hunt, Sorrelhawk padded over to the fresh-kill pile to drop her catch of two small fish. She had heard the call just as she had made it back, curiosity flickering in her gaze. What would this meeting bring? Hopefully no more death - there had been too much of that lately if she was asked. Picking her way over to a familiar pelt, the dappled she-cat took a seat next to Morninglily. She didn't look over at her friend, but nudged her gently with her shoulder as a smile stretched across her face.

Oh boy! Another meeting! Bouncing over from the edge of camp, Dustymoth promptly plopped himself down near a familiar silver pelt. That was one of the Clans Shields, right? Plummmmmm...something. He was really bad with names. Nonetheless, he tried to catch the she-cat's eye and give a wave of his bushy tail before turning and looking up at Kestrelstar.

Blizzardsky heard the call and scampered forward. Today was his big day. He'd have to look his best and act as responsible as he could. Today he was going to be announced as Riverclan deputy. He was absolutely certain of that. He was the obvious choice. He was the best warrior at everything, how could Kestrelstar not pick him as deputy. Doing that would be absolutely foolish. He quickly groomed his fur as he settled in the front of the crowd. So he wouldn't disturb anyone as he got up to accept the role of deputy. I forgot to prepare and acceptance speech he thought as his eyes got wide and his mind began to rush with ideas for what he could say.
