Palepaw grabbed some feathers from the bird she had caught with Batflight and hung them around the walls of the apprentices den, carefully tucking the most beautiful ones behind ferns and crevices in the rocky camp walls. After she’d spread them through most of the den and the bird was almost bare, she stepped back and smiled. That looked pretty good to her!

squirrelpaw shuffles into the apprentice's den, a thrush firmly clamped between her jaws. yellow eyes dart around the apprentice's den, hoping to spot goopypaw, maybe - he's possibly one of the few cats she can consider her best friend. well, other than mistlewhisker. could a mentor be a friend...? maybe rotpaw or palepaw were in here. her heart begins to hammer in her chest. nevermind!!!
too busy stressing, she doesn't notice the stray rock in her way. stumbling over it, she ends up tripping and tumbling right towards a cat. oh no!!
