Sneezebloom was frozen in terror. She hated rain. So much that when it occurred she often cowered in the Warrior's den.
It was so... wet.
She was resting her haunches from her previous trip to the Medicine Den, when the rain started.
"What if it floods!?," she gasped.
Suddenly, she heard a crash!
The Apprentice den was going to collapse!
Sneezebloom dragged herself out of the Warrior's den, -where she had been resting- nearing tripping over a quickly moving sodden branch. She approached the growing group of worried cats.
"What can I do to help?"

Porcupinesilk swiftly weaved a bland, large ‘holder' of sorts , a thick branch they found mixed with some recycled, dry moss. While it was planned to be temporary until the storm passes, it would do. Stretching it into a C shape of sorts, Porcupinesilk quickly shoved it across the roof, hoping it will support its weight. “Sure, not visually appealing but it may keep it upright." They meowed. @BEAR.

Several cats had heard his call and come to help, there were some bystanders uncertain of if they could help, and more notably some chaos within the den itself. Twistedpaw was frozen in a corner with Brindlepaw trying to save her, Creepingpaw was ready to throw paws with Breezepool over being plucked and carried like a kit, Poppypaw and Fawnpaw wanted to help, some apprentices left as-told and went to the elders' den. As for everything else going on... "Moosecrash, help me keep the ceiling up. Finbranch, Tawnylight, Honeypetal, Brackenclaw, make sure everyone's OUT. Shove 'em, carry 'em like kids if you need to - when this thing goes I don't want anyone in here. I see Brindlepaw, Twistedpaw, 'n Dawnpaw at just a glance - but we still have more apprentices than that unaccounted for!" The brambles, sticks and ferns might not kill anyone, but combined with the weight of the water someone might be hurt... and he wanted to minimize that. "Tinyowl, I know we got a pawful of apprentices who wanna help, but make sure they get to the elders' den. This storm's gonna make cats sick if everyone's staying out in it." Stars, he'd probably get wrecked too by illness. He could already hear somebody sneezing! Wolfhive wished he knew who did it so he could play keepaway. "... And if someone's showing signs, send them to Wolfpaw n Hollowpaw. I dunno if they can do much for it with their current training but it's better than leaving them with everyone else."

Had Wolfhive been outside the den, he might have noticed Lightningpaw's injuries and Autumnswirl's attempts to help her; or how several apprentices stayed outside in the storm wanting to help. Unfortunately, he'd been inside since the moment he yelled out - and was now stuck with the weight of it pushing down, threatening to burst.

[Fawnpaw, Nettlepaw, Poppypaw are outside the den and need to be sent to the elders den; Lightningpaw is injured and needs medical assistance, though her wounds are unrelated to this event.
Autumnswirl is trying to get Lightningpaw to see the med cats but cats outside the den should probably notice she's wounded!
I believe currently, the elder den has: Orangepaw, Peachpaw, Snowpaw, Antpaw, Ravenpaw]

Tawnylight went into the apprentices den and helped get any apprentices out of their den. She lightly pushed some of the apprentices out with one of her paws. She whispered to the apprentices she saved (whispered because she had a minor sore throat) "go into the elders den now." They walked up to the elders den. Tawnylight was only trying to hide her minor sore throat so she could help rescue apprentices.

If chaos had manifested itself into a physical problem, this would certainly be it. The apprentice was hauled out of his dream, which was quite a great dream might he add, and thrown back to reality with his ears filled with shouting and everything. He pushed himself out of his down soaking nest of moss with a gasp. He looked up at the roof of the den and grimaced, not only was water pouring in, but that roof didn't look all that stable anymore. He paced around a bit, trying to get an idea of just how deep the water was, could he walk through it or was it too deep? He didn't know how to swim. What a fun way to wake up.

Lots of warriors everywhere risingstorm walked in "Hey beepaw come on get out were headed to the elders den" he mewoed at beepaw stepping into the water up to beepaw the water was above his ankles "its not that deep you can get across I'll help you" he said looking at the roof he would rebuild the den once this whole thing settled

The thing Porcupinesilk made did stop water from streaming onto Wolfhive, but by that point he was already drenched and probably looked more like a rat than anything else. Moosecrash hadn't stepped up to the plate yet to help him hold the ceiling and he was... wavering. Trying not to, but a combination of the cold paired with being fatigued was not ideal for exerting energy.

Admittedly, he was simply too nervous about some sticks holding up the roof when water was pooling over the top like some unholy pimple ready to pop. Even if Porcupinesilk's patchwork held up in this spot, it didn't cover the entirety of the roof - meaning other areas might and likely would cave in.

And above all, he smelled blood in the water. The thought of someone hurt made his stomach twist unpleasantly, as he'd tried to avoid that... ugh.

He snapped, making the decision to let it go once Risingstorm got Beepaw out. It appeared all the apprentices in the den were pretty much through the exit and that just left the remaining warriors. "Wrap it up! I don't want anyone in here when this goes."

Once the den was cleared of cats, Wolfhive wedged a piece of bracken in front of the entrance to discourage cats from entering. The roof of the empty den was dipping around where Porcupinesilk had put up a support piece and, after a few moments, Wolfhive could hear the snap of the brambles as they finally, entirely gave out. The roof was the first to crumble beneath the water, and the soaked walls were next - falling inward in a disorganized heap of wood, plants and mud.

Wolfhive was shivering at this point, sides heaving as he lowered himself into a resting crouch. He was soaked, the rain remained relentless against the camp, but he was worn out and felt unable to carry himself further for the moment. At least the den was empty when it finally fell, but damn. they just needed a break, and not the "broken den" kind.

"Risingstorm.. we need to do a headcount. The den was empty but I didn't see all our apprentices, need to make sure they're in camp 'n fine. If they're missing, we need to know. Gather all the apprentices' into the elders' den if they're not in there like they should be, 'n if someone's not around tell me or Bumblestar."

to have your apprentices be present in the elders' den so
Risingstorm can ensure they're OK and in camp.
No one should be in the apprentice den at this time,
nor would they be in the rubble.
If you do not post, your cat will be marked as Missing
on the Allegiances and have to go through a rejoining. ]

Porcupinesilk meowed, concerned about Wolfhive. “Go get some rest, we don't want one of our best members to be sick. When the storm passes, I'll create a new apprentice den." They meowed, offering a shoulder. sure they were being a bit bossy but they were concerned about their clanmate @BEAR.

The elder had a love hate relationship with this kind of weather. He liked the rain, the sounds, the scents, the memories.. though he really disliked the way it made all his scars ache and pain. Though nothing like that would keep Foxskipper from sticking his nose in business that more than likely didn't relate to him in anyway. Why was he suddenly getting a flood of new den mates. Not like he was complaining but still, this was a shock, why would anyone be out and about deciding sleep overs in this weather. The old tom flicked his tail before pushing himself up. His lame leg sticking out awkwardly as he peered at the soaked through cats.

"Aren't y'all a little young to be retiring... and surely a sleep over could've waited for better traveling weather.." The elder spoke playfully before padding his way to the front of the elder's den, and peered out towards the noises and group of cats who were crazy to be out in this rain. Oh dear, unless his eyes were mistaking him, that den didn't look to be in the best condition. The water dropping down on it at a rapid pace didn't seem to be helping in the slightest as well. It was caving in. The thought alarmed the tom but he didn't move from the security of the elder's den. It was clear that his den was being used as a back up space and Foxskipper certainly didn't mind. Wolfhive and countless warriors were already over there dealing with it all so his help could stay in the elder's den.

He turned back to the apprentices he had teased earlier and made his way over, "Well come on then, shake out your fur towards the back, help each other dry off quickly. We don't need any colds being caught, they aren't the type of prey we want." He flicked his tail towards the back of the den. It wasn't like they could shake off outside of the den so the back would have to do.
