Nightshadow looked ahead to Duskfern. "Nothing so far," she called for only the 4 of us to hear. She padded alongside Mistyfang still scenting the air for prey. "They must've all gone in their burrows..." she stopped in her tracks and crouched down. "Not all of them." She spotted a mouse scurrying among the leaves. "Get down!" she called to everyone. The mouse was 6 tail-lengths ahead of her. She ran to a tree that was 4 tail lengths from the mouse. She kept her tail down to the ground but not too low for it to brush against leaves. Almost there, she thought. She padded a little more forwards then stopped and found herself a tail length away from the mouse. Nightshadow leaped but the mouse saw her and it started to run away from her claws. The amber eyed she-cat gave chase. The mouse was quick and turned the other way. Nightshadow ran quicker and cut the mouse off of her trail, took it by her front claws and killed it with one nip to the back of it's neck.

Breathing heavy she looked to everyone else watching her. Oh, Nightshadow, you couldn't have done better than that? she thought. The black she-cat took the mouse in her jaws and padded back to Mistyfang's side.

A bit miffed that HE hadn't been able to find the squirrel, Shrewpaw mewed I'm good with heading back to camp now. Maybe I'll find someone to take me out later. Spinning quickly, he scooped up his prey in his mouth before giving himself a quick shake to remove any leaf matter stuck to him. Since a leafy butt....never really looked good. He planned to dump the frog on the fresh-kill pile, and take the bird and mouse to the elders den, to the nursery if there were no takers there. He just.....really hoped he didn't end up doing ticks or anything. Although something told him any movement near those dens would at LEAST earn him some moss changing. Oh well. It was his job, and he had to be USEFUL.

Moonpaw snuck out of camp passing Crowpaw( @Dovey ) Without stopping. just in case crowpaw decides to follow her she circled around the trees then walked confidently to a part of the border that is barely patrolled and squeezed between two bushes she meets with her "Sparing partner" Beetlepaw of thunderclan " Your late" he said," I thought you weren't going to come."
"Ugggggggggg I'm sorry grumpy paws," she said running her tail under his chin; his rumbling purr shaking him. Yes, She knew this was wrong but being with him felt so...................... good and so right. It's not like anyone would ever know, right?

”At least we have something,” Mistyfang meowed, lightening the mood. “Every bit helps. And there’s got to be some prey around here.” he walked forward, swishing his thick tail. He looked around, acknowledging the chilly breeze. “We’ll get through it.” he said suddenly. “Just like every other leaf-bare.” Everything was silent for a moment as they focused on tracking prey. Mistyfang padded up to Duskfern and brushed his pelt against hers for warmth. He purred.

Wolf limped deep into this clan's territory. She desperately hoped that this clan didn't talk with Windclan or she'd be in trouble. Her rouge father commanded a raid on Windclan, saying that they will scatter the clans and take the territory for themselves. Wolf got injured badly, bringing her to reality. They outnumber us, she thought. after she had walked away her father tried to murder her but he didn't know he had made her a killing machine. A Cat-like smell yanked Wolf out of her memories. She then sat and started licking her wounds. This cat should be able to smell me, so ill wait.

Rolling his cold golden eyes he turned and began striding out of camp, pushing himself out of camp the camp entrance and into the marshy pines. He took a deep calming breath of the pine scent as he trudged onwards, not checking back to see if Dorkpaw was following. If she wanted to come with he would not stop her, however, he wouldn't welcome her either. He strode quietly into the pines until a flicker of movement in the branches ahead caught his eye, making him drop to a crouch. He padded towards the back of the pine the shrew was in, and, digging his claws into the soft bark, hauled himself up a few branches above it. Stars above he hoped Darkpaw wasn't following him. One misstep and he could fall and hurt himself, or worse, lose his bird. He crawled forward silently until he was above the bird and he dropped, claws outstretched as he aimed to pin the shrew with his forepaws and land on the branch with his back.

Darkpaw followed after him, though it was hard. He was awfully fast. She watched him climb a tree, she didn't know cats could do that.. She sat and just flicked at the grass, waiting for him to get his kill. She tried hard not to make noise, of course. She saw a small brown rod looking thing on the ground and rolled it towards herself. A.. stick? Cool. She held it between her two paws, inspecting it. What if she.. snapped it? What would happen? She looked up at Burn Burn, would he be mad? Would it scare away his kill? Well, whatever. She was curious. She snapped the small stick with a somewhat loud crack. She winced, not expecting it to have been this loud. The apprentice shrunk down, hoping it wouldn't mess up his kill.

Nightshadow looked down and stopped looking happy with the mouse still in her jaws. But she didn't show her unhappiness to her Clanmates. The black she-cat started walking forward scenting the air again for prey. "Should we split up a little bit so we can cover ground quicker?" She meowed looking straight at Duskfern. "It's just a suggestion."

Duskfern looked at the black shecat. ”Good idea,” she mewed with a nod. “You and Mistheart can go right together. she edged her head to the right. ”I’ll go with Mistyfang.”

Mistyfang nodded his head in farewell to Nightshadow and Mistheart. ”Meet back up here when we catch anything?” he asked, preparing to follow Duskfern left.
