Lotuskit staggered over to the Elders’ Den. She heard that the elders there had told some pretty good stories, or were at least nice to you, so she had decided to try it out. The previous feelings were only a moment of courage that had quickly faded away. How she wished she could run away from this situation.

Silvercreek looked up and blinked curiously. He hadn't seen this kit around before. From they way she was acting, she was incredibly nervous. Made sense, especially since she didn't know him. "Why, hello there. Who might you be?"

Silvercreek grunted and moved, his joins creaking in protest. He merely sat by the entrance of the den.

To her surprise, the elder shifted at Lotuskit’s voice. She hesitated at first, but replied politely to his question.
”Lotuskit,” she mewed, fidgeting with her paws. “You.. you’re Silvercreek, right.?”
The kit tried her best to stand tall and look confident in her words despite her feelings saying otherwise.

This wasn’t so bad! Lotuskit allowed her muscles to relax, and let her tail sway side to side in a continuous pattern. Her ears slowly lifted from being flattened.
“What types of stories do you usually tell, anyways?” she questioned.

Silvercreek nodded, humming as he thought. "Yes. I usually tell about stories of lessons from StarClan, or my time as an apprentice. Which do you want to hear?"

Frostkit padded into the nursery, looking around for an elder. She could see Firehawk, and quickly padded over to him. "Could you tell me a story?" she asked politely, maybe Frostkit would have luck today? @BILL.

Firehawk was fortunate enough to not be feeling too terribly when Frostkit came into the den, but he was surprised when the kit expressed interest in him. Normally they preferred Silvercreek, which was fine of course-- but he was flattered regardless. "Well, what kind of story would you like to hear?"

"Could you tell me about how the clans came to be?" Frostkit asked. She thought that might be interesting, as she always wondered that.
