"At least you know how to keep yourself occupied." He mutters again. His tail was still lashing side to side as he laid there. It was obvious he was new to this clan-life bull-crap, as it seemed he didn't give a rat's ass about anyone but himself at the moment. Or he was just very anti-social. (which he is)

Magpiepaw merely just sat there, her rump planted in the snow. "Oh no no no! I'm going to stay right here. Please, do tell me what makes your role in this clan so important?"

What Magpiepaw hated was that some curiosity leaked into her sharp voice. It was so unnatural for that tone of voice to be forced off her tongue and let into the frosty air.

Magpiepaw visibly shuddered. Was she loosing her edge? She couldn't of possibly had some interest in as to why this bag of bones was endlessly staring off into space.

And the weirdest thing was that Magpiepaw already knew the answer! It was because they were old and rusty and had nothing better to do other than look back and reminisce on old mousedung or something...

So then why was she curious?

Ugh! Magpiepaw hated when she questioned herself, hated when she felt inferior to her own mind.

Stop that, she yelled back at her thoughts, her feelings. I am my own cat. I decide how I feel.

But that didn't stop her ears from perking up to hear the elders raspy voice just a teensy bit better over the many mews of warriors in the clearing.

“I am not too sure..,” Mossfreckle said with a nervous shuffle of his paws - it was the cats brash nature that bothered him, he could hand that fine, but he hated that he did not have the knowledge to help Ghostclaw.
