rookfire exhaled forcefully through his nose, were it humorous or out of disappointment he couldnt quite tell himself either, it was sort of ridiculous, an entire patrol beat into the ground by one mere fox. his eyes flicked to mudslide, "good work with the fox, 's nice to know there are some proper warriors" the warrior commented with little humour, his insides straining to let the casual praise pass its lips. the scolding that followed wasnt a surprise to him and did little to unsettle him, he was doing well in regards to battle and hunting. quite the opposite of fear sparked in his chest, grateful for the pressure dawnstar put on slacking warriors and threatening retraining in case of failure. he couldnt understand how the other clans could percieve dawnstar as cruel, she was realistic and cared for the clan as a whole rather than trying to avoid hurting anyones small pathetic feelings. fadingstar couldve never, neither could stormstar or larkwing.

once the leader dismissed the meeting rookfires striped tail flicked with annoyance, when in starclans name was his challenge for enforcer supposed to happen then? last time, it had been announced in a meeting..

huge chocolate brown tom with darker brown markings that go down his back and limbs; lighter brown underbelly and chest. has a striped tail and small, tufted ears with round, blazing golden eyes. has thick fluffy fur and a raccoon-like striped tail. he has a single tooth that overlaps his bottom lip and is commonly covered in mud. he is missing half of his right ear; smells like dirt & wood. struggles with a stutter. ⋆｡˚ ☁︎ ˚｡⋆｡˚☽˚｡⋆

⊱ ۫ ׅ ✧ Uh oh. Mama did not like mud (for some reason) so, out of respect he tried to keep her clean of debris. Unfortunately, this time around she landed in the splash zone. "Sorry Ma!" He yipped, scrambling his paws in an attempt to try and wipe the mud off her fur. Like it didn't happen.

He was then splashed with more mud. Not that he minded. He blinked slowly back at her, tilting his head to the side before he smiles at her; not entirely picking up on her tone. "I lik-ke Frogpaw! T-they go BOINGG!" He suggested, then paused -- expression crumbling in confusion. "..Whaaat-t's a p-pig?" Houndpaw added on, hard to make a true choice if he didn't know what one meant! He didn't really waant a renaming though. Hound was cool. But whatever pleased his ma!

Turns out he had splashed someone else too 'cuz a kit started yelling at him. Houndpaw whipped around to stare at Pinekit with a deepening frown. He wasn't even HURTING ANYBODY!!! What a whiny baby. "Okayy, f-fine 'cuz trust I don't-t wanna hear you YAP anymore.. I'll l-look for your parent-ts while I'm at it-t, 'cuz CLEARLY t-they want-ted to get-t away from your annoying voice t-too!" he rolled his eyes, no WONDER! No one likes someone with POOR manners.

Still, his attention was quickly taken away by the familiar howl of his sister. His ears perked up and immediately he pointed his muzzle to the sky and let out a loud, "AwwWOOO!!!!!!!" in response to her. Why were they howling again? Dunno, but he was here with SUPPORT.
