daydream looked right in that dogs eyes. it was another close to death senerio, nothing that they werent used to. but nightpaw was right, they needed to run. there was no way that they could take on a dog alone, and daydream knew if they were injured in a dream theyd suffer in the morning. so they did. they ran. and ran. letting their claws dig into the ground and shoot them forward, their chest heaving in the process. amber eyes darted around the yard they were in for anyway to exscape, then they had their eyes set on a tree. it was low to the ground by high enough for the dog to not climb it. they were running so fast they feared that they wouldnt jump on the tree corectly, but that didnt stop them. at the tree grew closer and closer, and the feeling of the dogs breath on their neck growing dangerous, they lurched forward, extending their claws as they jumped in the air, extending their body as much as they could. they made contact with the trunk, digging their claws in immediatly as they scrabled to get to higher parts of it, leaving claw marks behind in the bark. they hoped nightpaw had gotten to safer ground in the process.

Nightpaw watched in relief as Daydream dashed toward and up a tree in the garden and to safety. The dog barked and slavered viciously as leapt at the trunk. In a flash, Nightpaw found herself looking down at the dog and Daydream from one of the branches. She help out a paw to help the medicine cat climb higher up, but as she did, she saw that her paw was smaller than it should be. She looked down at her chest, her legs, and realized with only minor surprise that she wasn't a fully grown cat anymore, but a little black kit. She stared at Daydream with wide green eyes. "I couldn't help you," she said in a small, high-pitched meow. "I can't help anyone. Everyone who helps me gets hurt..." She looked down again at the dog, shivering as she watching it snap it's jaws and split the air with its bellowing bark. "You should just leave me and run away... You'll get hurt too."

The lease before GoldenStar never gave me the name or a ceremony at that it was my 10th birthday and I figured it was time so I hopped up on the Rock and did my ceremony quietly but I wasn't alone m family can e down from StarClan to witness it a d I called dmyself ShadowFire in remeberance of them *he said chocking up*

Sunray debating on arguing for a moment,
but he decided on I guess he wasn't up too early. "Alright, then... Don't pass out on me, though," he joked, but then he wasn't joking. "Seriously, if you're too tired, tell me."

Nightshadow frowned. That didn't seem like something Goldenstar would do, but Nightshadow knew certain circumstances could change things and actions. "Oh, I see," she murmured, not wanting to make Shadowfire more upset. "I'm sorry." She didn't think a naming ceremony could be official without a leader, she had heard that StarClan wouldn't accept the name. But the ceremony wasn't official, it was done in a haste to have a different name, in the need to be a warrior.

"Don't worry, I won't," Cloudheart purred back, flicking his tail across Sunray's shoulders playfully. When his voice grew serious, however, the tom's eyes softened. "Don't worry," he repeated, offering a small smile. "I don't go down that easily." It was true- the large tom wasn't beaten by much.

Sunray smirked and rolled his eyes. "Yeah, sure," he meowed in response jokingly. He started to head towards the exit of the den, glancing back for a second. "Well, I guess let's go, then." He turned back to the exit and continued walking.

It's ok and I have no hard feelings against GoldenStar because the leader before her was a tyrannical maniac who sent out raiding party's whenever he could and never cared about his clanmates *he said agitated*

Nightshadow nodded and smiled slightly, still tired from her hunting earlier. "Well, that's good. Goldenstar is a good leader," Nightshadow commented, furthering her want to never be deputy. She felt that is she ever was deputy, she wouldn't be able to live up to her leader's standards, and she didn't want to disappoint him. Goldenstar was one of the few cats that she actually respected.
