Honeykit padded down across the beach with her mouth open and whiskers twitching. She could scent other cats, but who?

Oakkit ran to the water, had he just tried to kill his brother! What was wrong with him, he looked at his reflection as it was steadly rippled by salty droplets

Dovekit followed Oakkit's scent, finding it and padding after him. She followed his scent down to the water and stopped when she saw him. The gray she cat took a deep breath before padding forwards until she was two tail lengths from him. "Oakkit?" she mewed softly, looking straight at him. "Are you ok?"

"I don't know," he looked at her tear streaks running down his eyes "did I try to kill, Amberkit?" he asked helplessly

Dovekit looked at the water. "I don't know if you tried to kill Amberkit." She looked back at Oakkit. "Why did you attack Amberkit, Oakkit. He's your sibling."

"That's not a good reason to attack your sibling," she mewed, with the same soft voice she used before. Dovekit padded all the way up to him and tried to look in his eyes. "I think he'll be ok. He just looked pretty scared of what you did. We can stay here a while if you want, but afterwards you're going to have to apologize to Amberkit and Briarkit."

"Yeah I know, but they just-" he sighed and looked at her "I don't know, What if, What if, it had been worse than a few scraches, What if It happened again?" oakkit started to sob and he looked away again "Do- Do you hate me? Cuz I understand if you do,"

"Oakkit," Dovekit mewed looking into his eyes. "It wasn't worst then a few scratches and it won't happen again." She took a step forward so she was close to him. "I don't hate you. I lov-like you a lot." Dovekit put her head on Oakkit's shoulder and did a little nuzzle.
