Cricketsting nodded and followed Sunstone. The dark and eerie scenery of the territory blocked out any jokes that could be thought of. Shivers climbed down his spine. He remembered getting stuck in a tree before; he waited for someone to come back to scare them as a prank, but when the owls started to sing their night chants, it scared the cream tom into a tumbling mess. Branches scraped against his fur and he was caught midair by tangles of the tree’s leaves.
How long did it take for him to get out? Apparently long enough that he ran out of jokes to keep himself entertained. Soon enough, the leaves gave out and dropped the warrior.
Long story short, Cricketsting did not want to be back here for the third time. Goosebumps formed some more as the patrol leader called out for Fawnpaw. He nodded and gulped, scanning for any signs of fur that belonged to the young medicine cat.

During most or few roleplays, I will do a flashback that was conjured in my characters' thoughts. Please do not respond to the flashback unless you have the power to read minds or smth.

Re: Sleepy Thicket
As Ivybush walked away he kicked up the dead leaves, then realized he probably scared all the prey away, and sat down with a grunt. "Stupid me thinking I could make friends." He mutter. A few moments later a rustle and small squeak came from a bush. Ivybush froze and sniffed the air quickly. Mouse nest. This was the perfect opportunity to show everyone that they could hunt.
Ivybush slowly shifted to a crouch, then waited for the right moment, and sprang on the rustling spot, he trapped a mouse and accidentally scratched a long line on it's bag, he shrugged it off and grabbed the small blind pinkies.
Ivybush emerged victorious, he had five mice hanging from his jaw by their tales. For once he felt good about himself, maybe i'm not so useless after all...

"You okay?" Drizzlepaw asked the warrior but she herself hated this place. Other apprentices told her ghosts ruled here and could eat a cat whole!

The ginger giant looked over his shoulder when Drizzlepaw's voiced her concern for Cricketsting. The poor warrior looked as if he'd seen a ghost! Well...this part of the forest was supposedly haunted, so it made sense for his patrolmates to eb on egde. The Sleepy Thicket had darkened significantly throughout their search, too, which wasn't helping them in any way, shape, or form. Wait, had the sun gone down already? Sunstone quickly swept his gaze toward the horizon and squinted at the orange glow in the distance. Great StarClan, where had the time gone?? He could have sworn they just started searching...perhaps he was too into the search -- looking hard for any trace, scent, or sign of Fawnpaw somewhere in these starforsaken woods...
Sunstone eventually released a defeated sigh. As much as he hated it, their search must eventually come to an end.
Fixing his focus back on his spooked patrol mate, Sunstone attempted to reassure him. "You alright? I'm sorry, Cricketsting. I lost track of time and kept us out here much longer than I anticipated." The colossal warrior's gaze landed on Drizzlepaw. "You two ready to go home? I think...we've searched enough out here...and I'm sure neither of you wish to continue the search during the dark hours."
The haunting feeling of the forest finally caught up with the large warrior -- sending a sudden shiver down his spine that fluffed up his fur and uncoiled his claws. He blinked in surprise to his reaction, now stiff as a board. He wasn't usually type to get spooked very easily, but...maybe he had been worn down from their long day of searching. Sunstone cleared his throat and tried to rid the tingly feeling out of his pelt with a few good shakes. "Apologies..." He spoke up, looking around with a lost caution. "I must've caught a chill from...the cold air..."
@Dirtfur @Firefly [unfortunately the other rper has dropped their character, so lets hurry this patrol up!]

She shook her fur straightning herself. "Yes please! This forest gives me unwanted chills up my spine! I wish I was sent to look for Fawnpaw in another territory" with that she remembered Fawnpaw again. How could she have forgotten? "We didnt find any trace of Fawnpaw, what if we lose her? Who will be the Clan's medicine cat?" she whispered as she echoed her fears aloud

“I’m fine, just… I don’t want to be here out of the places in this forest.” No joke was found inside his head. No signs of Fawnpaw at all. “Is, is fine. I’m ready to go now.” He ignored the eccentric reaction Sunstone produces; his focus heavily shifted from creating jokes to trying to remember his past.

"Yes, we may go." Sunstone concluded after a disappointed sigh. Not disappointed in his patrolmates, but disappointed in being unable to find Fawnpaw. They searched the whole day and found no trace of her...
The colossal warrior looked up toward the darkening sky. Please still be alive out there, Fawnpaw...and...if you are, please come home to us. RiverClan needs you...
Once his little prayer was over, Sunstone lead the patrol back home.

Drizzlepaw followed without a word. Talking wouldnt be of much help, and to be honest it might make it even worse. She just hoped Fawnpaw would come back. They were left without a medicine cat, what would happen within that time? And what if she never came back? She just shook her head as she followed Sunstone. She had to keep positive, it was her only chance of remaining stable.
