Spotting his apprentice, Fishfin waved his tail in the air, hoping his apprentice could see him, lying beside the pond. Leopardpaw! I'm over here. he called horsley, unsure if he could be heard. @Lynxpaw

He could swear his heart melted a little bit, and he gently pulled Icekit closer to him with his tail. Absolute joy brimmed in his eyes, at both Twilightstar's well wishes and the fact that this tiny little gift of a child had just called him dad. A smile spread its way across his muzzle, and he allowed a soft laugh to escape his throat. "Maybe I can," he rasped.
He glanced over at the pond beside them, contemplating leaning over to take a quick drink, but before he could, Duskstar startled him with the sudden appearance and the unexpected apology. He blinked rapidly, jaws opening slightly in shock, and even though a mixture of pride and delight bubble up in his chest, he glanced away with a self-conscious shrug. "What's past is past. There's no need for apologies. I'm just happy to help." His gaze flickered down to her paw as it patted him on the shoulder, and he opened his mouth to say something else, but before he could Rushingmoor padded up.
"Of course I could," he said with a flick of an ear, happy to have an excuse to get off of his paws. " Take some time to rest, Duskstar, I'll take care of things. Uh, let's see. Ivorypaw [ @Zesty Mango ]! Come here a second, I need your help! What about you, Icekit?" He turned to the small she-cat and motioned with his paws as if he was pushing a nest together, then tried his best to mime sleeping. "Nest building? Help?"

At Duskstar's call, Buckbranch hauled himself to his paws, shook leaves and grass out of his short fur, and made his way over to the others with a barely-concealed yawn and a short cough. He was utterly exhausted, having slept on nothing but bare ground and being constantly plagued by sudden rounds of coughing for the past couple of nights, and was ready to find a new place to set up camp. He gave Buzztuft a warm smile, glad to have someone close to him with him on this little expedition, and a polite nod to Duskstar and Dogpaw. "I'm ready to go."

Icekit laughed a little as she watched her new father try to mime making a nest. She knew what he meant so she nodded eagerly " I'd love to!!!" She jumped with joy.

Pinepaw looked around. A lot of the cats seemed tired and worried. Understandably. The whole camp burned down. She was mostly sleeping. She rarely had any appetite but now she was actually hungry. Her eyes were very puffy and her skin felt dry. She was awfully skinny. She got up and decided to attempt to hunt something. She tried looking around for prey but her vision felt confused. Eventually she just sat down again.

Stonefur had noticed the young apprentice earlier and approached with a vole, embarrassed, he wasn’t a bad guy or anything but he was known to not talk to apprentices that often. “Take slow bites or you’ll feel worse”, he murmured before stepping away.

Pinepaw was surprised at the kind gesture. Normally, cats didn't really care. Then she remembered. Everyone is a traitor. Their actions are for themselves. They felt good when helping others. If they felt bad, they wouldn't be doing it.
"Thank you." she replied in her usual, hollow voice. She felt herself lose appetite, but forced herself to take a bite out of the vole.


(she's malnourished due to having depression. She loses her appetite easily.)

Now that he and hopefully Stingpaw had taken the weird hidden fluff off the cattails, they could get to work. Carrying a few over to the dead bush, he motioned for Stingpaw to watch. Wheither the tom was watching or not, Russetstrike began weaving the reeds in and out of the bush. Turning to Stingpaw, "understand how to do this?"

The lilac point tom shrugged softly over to Robinpaw. "I remember fixing up some holes in different dens so... maybe it's the same?" He gave an awkward glace before padding off to find a dead bush. "We need a dead bush or something as a base so try to look for something like that." Breaking off, the older apprentice padded away. Creekpaw didn't exactly know where the den should or would go but, it didn't matter right? This was a temporary camp.. until ThunderClan got on they're own two paws.

Chivepaw sat down in his makeshift den “Yow! He put thorns in my den”, he bristled angrily and turned to the other apprentices nearby.

Leopardpaw heard Fishfin call him and padded up to him. The tom sat down, looking at his mentor lying on the ground. "Are you okay?" he asked.

"I'm fine. Just breathed in some smoke" Leopardpaw told Fishfin. His lungs burned a bit, but other than that, he was fine.
