"Shadow-" she said quietly, and moved so her shadow couldn't be seen. She saw a splash, and hooked the fish. She nosed it towards him. "You look hungry...I-i can catch more."

Creampelt shook his head. "The clan should be fed first," he meowed. "I can take it back to camp if you'd like."

"Well yeah, but all the roots and dirt would stick to it. The elders don't want that." Nighttuft meowed. Her tail flicked. She looked at the moss Dawnpaw had collected, and noticed it's size. "Try this for larger pieces." The warrior meowed, getting another piece of moss close to the trunk, but above the roots.

Dawnpaw watched her mentor closely, waiting until she was done to copy her movements, managing to get a larger piece of moss. Her eyes lit up with pride when she saw what she did, but they still showed a bit of an emptiness and sadness. She looked up at Nighttuft for some sort of approval to be sure she did it right before she asked her question “How do we carry it back? In our mouths? On our backs? Under our chins?”

Rainsplash smiled, gently putting his paw on the scales to determine how they felt. "Seems to be a Silver Carp. Well done, Loonpaw" He purred, touching his nose to her cheek as to say "I'm Happy for you" or "Well Done".

Creampelt reached down swiftly and hooked a fish with his claws. His sixth claw looked a bit odd, but was useful for this, and he caught the fish successfully.

Creampelt looked shyly at his foot. "Thanks," he said, self-consious, although it wasn't really a big deal. It was helpful for fishing, though, which was worth mentioning.
