Silentkit padded to the fresh kill pile and deposited his tiny fresh in the pile. He decided to take a cat-nap in the space behind the nursery den.

Tinypaw raised a brow, briefly glancing down at his bobbed tail. Keeping it off the floor wasnt going to be an issue.
The runt of an apprentice gave it ago! He stood up and then crouched down, following her every instruction and movement.

Fuzzy was tired, his paws were sore, none of this was unusual, the tuxedo tom was many moons old, and tired of his life as a loner, the Clan cats had a reputation of being kind, especially RiverClan, plus he enjoyed fish, and was a half-decent fisher. Fuzzy soon saw cats, one of them was an apprentice, the other a warrior, the Clans called them, and by their look and smell he thought that they were RiverClan.
"Hi, Youngsters, care to help out an old tom like me?" He asked, his white tail tip twitching, his tail was the only part of him that hadn't slowed down over the seasons. The two cats (he would later learn that their names were Pebblepudge and Crabpaw)

Well, maybe it was better to start out small.. the beach seemed like a stretch for such a tiny apprentice. The territory was a much better place to start! At least there was no risk of Crabpaw falling in any water, and despite Pebblepudge's rather... buoyant form and confidence in the water, he still didn't want to risk anything. Accidentally killing your apprentice a few days after your warrior ceremony?! No thanks!

As Pebblepudge would lead Crabpaw through the territory, mindful to keep an eye on him to make sure he didn't run off or something, he suddenly went on full alert - pelt bristling up as he turned to find the mysterious voice,

"Old tom?" Pebblepudge narrowed his eyes, adjusting to the darkness of the woods around them to spot the strange feline. Nudging Crabpaw to stay behind him, Pebblepudge forced his fur to lay flat though he kept a defensive stance about him,

"What exactly do you need help with? And why are you on RiverClan's territory?"

Lilytail gave a nod of approval. “That's really good!” She paused, trying to remember what she had been about to say. “Now if you're approaching a mouse, you want to step lightly. And if you're stalking a bird, you want to be ready to leap up and hit it if it takes off.”

He flicked his pitch black ear in acknowledgement to her words. If his foot steps were any lighter, he'd no doubt take off lile a feather! Tinypaw waited for his next instructions.

“Well, looks like we've covered it! You're pretty good at this, so we might actually move on to live prey today!” Lilytail proceeded to set up some leaves and twigs. “You can practice on these, and then we can move onto live prey, ok?”

"Just lookin' for RiverClan, youngsters! Am I in the right place?" Fuzzy asked cheerfully. "I'm gettin to be too old to hunt for my self. I'm lookin' for the leader." Fuzzy's tail tip was twitching again.
