Oh, it was one of THOSE cats. The ones that heard something nice about the clans, thought they could do nothing and live happily forever after. It wasn't true, Splashleap knew that quite well, cats DIED all the time, the leader, the deputy, the medicine cat.......there was a lot of loss. She was about to snap out a frosty no before taking a few more, deep breaths. Take him to Lionstorm, let the golden tom figure out if he was going to stay. If the former leader thought that he could stay, she would live with it. If not, she would be happy to escort him out. There's a cat we've got to talk to first. she mewed, seizing her crab and waving her tail for him to follow. @Dirtkit9

Mhmm, Lionstorm was craving turtles.

For the past several nights, he'd been coming to the beach to wait for his army to return to him. Would they be grown up? Was the chipped one still around? He almost took it home with him but let it go. It was probably Fawn's fault.

The sun was beginning to set, and alas his turtle children were no where to be found. Another day of waiting done.. perhaps he'd have better luck tomorrow.

Before he left, he made sure to grab a seagull and a crab. Or rather, the crab grabbed him-- pinching the spikey tip of his tail. What a pest! He'd have to show it who's boss when he got back to camp.

Padding over the soft sand of the beach, the soft sound of the tide crashing every few seconds providing a rather relaxing atmosphere. She stopped a bit short of the main part of the beach. "I was hoping we would get assigned a spot better for fishing, as I am good at that." She said, thinking aloud. Trying to recall what was the best options for hunting here, as she rarely was ever down this way.

"Right. First and foremost, dont touch the turtles. Dont want Lionstorm getting angry. If you want, you can scan the shoreline for dead fish, its rare but if you find any its free food without having to work for it! Just make sure its not sick or full of any bugs or parasites, first. Shellfish are an option, if a bit tricky, but I am sure you can figure it out! Or, I can teach you how to lure in seagulls! Otherwise, try and stay away from crabs and lobster. I may not have trouble with them but their pinch would be able to cut off the tail of an apprentice like you with no problem. Sound good? Now, do you want to be left on your own to hunt, or would you like to follow me around?"

Streampaw jumped off of a rock. No that not a crab you fur ball she hissed in annoyance. Padding behind the rocks to collect her prey. Coming back she dropped a crab at his feet. this is a crab this time her voice was full of amusement @Dizerel

Streampaw looked him dead in the eye just trust me she mewed. A bloody patch on her paw showed she had been hurt while hunting. If you want follow me and I’ll point out everything to you she yawned in a effort to hide her pain. Turning she looked back to see if he would follow
