Shykit raised her head in surprise as she heard Orchidkit's name called. Wasn't that the kit she had saved? The one that tried to save her as well? Shykit scanned the kits that stepped forward, waiting for her eyes to land on Orchidkit.

As he watched the kits scramble up, the tom remembered his own apprentice ceremony... he had had so much curiosity, so much hope...
Hawthornkit and Pinekit stood pelt-brushing-pelt as they were made apprentices, the two cheered for themselves at making it to apprenticeship.
Hawthornpaw touched noses with his new mentor, before noticing an older apprentice walking up to him.
He had a brown coat, and green eyes...
Moosepaw.
The memory stung the Warrior, not because the memory was bad, it was because of the cat that was in it.
He put a paw to his blind eye, the anger and fear of that horrible day, moons after his ceremony, came tumbling back to him.
He hated Moosepaw, and he always would.

Saltpaw was late, and that wasn't good. He didn't want to be stared at by any of his classmates- hopefully no cat noticed the light grey tabby slipping in at the back. Kits where being called up it seemed like,, and from his memory, that meant they where being apprenticed!! Wait,, I'm gonna have to share a den with them . . . ugggh

Since he was technically 23 moons now, having to sleep with the little cats (not as small as new kits of course, but still reasonably tiny) was quite awkward.

Lightkit froze and stared up at her leader. 'Was that today?!' she had completely forgotten. She quickly licked one of her fore paws and dragged it over her ears. 'Just breath, you can't afford to mess up now!' she took a deep breath and glanced around hoping no one could see how nerves she was and padded up to the streamstone, her thoughts racing. 'What mentor will I get, oh I hope that their nice...'

Nightclaw's ears pricked, apprentices and border news. "This is gonna be interesting..." he thought. "And lots of new apprentices" she smiled for him self, the more chances for him to get one.
