The kit puffed his chest out and stepped forward, a prideful, smug grin in his face. Omg-omg-omg. This is the happiest he’d been in his dull, boring life. Was he the only one of his litter to become an apprentice early? That was PERFECT. Hopefully mama would be proud! And no- not the one that left him, the one that was there for him. Mama-Nighty. Hopefully his mamas super cool Hawk friend could train him! Or at least help.
SpiderPaw stepped forward a bit, staying behind the kits a polite distance and not getting too far from MagpiePaw. Why was he…excited? Excited to be excited with her—not just cause his ceremony…

Heck. Gutspaw was sliding into the meeting a little bit late by the sound of it - Dawnstar had already started to call kits up - but the apprentice still took a seat near the back. Might as well see what was up.
UUuhm. That was alotta cats gathering. Houndkit resided in a mud pile, head barely poking out as he watched more and more cats gather underneath Mama. Wuut? He knew the wildcats liked his Mama (who didn't!!) but there were sooo!!! SOO!!! many of them. It was scary, but he was curious. The kit slowly rose from his pile, mud still dripping off his fur. He skittered closer to the crowd, but still keeping quite near the sidelines. He wanted to see what was up!! Wildcats were fun to watch. Big and small.

[open for help - does not do well with cats outside of his siblings and mom and will bite and claw out of fear]
The loss of warmth and a few extra bodies disturbed the formerly slumbering kit. Huge orange eyes sleepily watched the tail end of his siblings leave their den. It was Momster's home, but since he and his siblings lived here it was their den too. Confused, and not wanting to be left behind, Weepingkit scrambled to his paws and scurried out of the nest and den.
"Wait for weeping, coming too, am I." His muzzle and nose collided with the ground a few times as walking was still difficult for him, but he made it outside. Oh boy! The scents were the first thing he noticed, strong and so many new ones. Everything had this pine-like scent, but underneath it were unique smells that belonged solely to individual cats. It was amazing.
The actual cats, however, spooked the living daylight out of him. Weepingkit's eyes watered, his fur bristled and his back arched, attempting to be as intimidating as a kitten could be with tears leaking down his fluffy cheeks. No one was looking at him, all he saw was the backs of cats of all shades and sizes, attention on Momster who stood above them.
He knew better than to mewl or try to catch the leader's attention, she looked busy. He's learned to be quiet when cats visit their den and Momster is busy. Maybe he should go back to... siblings! He swore he saw the brown pelt of one of his littermates and hurried in that direction, he didn't want to be alone. He quickly found himself lost in the forest of cats that were gathered, he ran into someone's hindleg and jumped spooked and spat at them before darting off in another direction only to step on another cat's tail which had him jumping and spitting again.
This became a reoccurring problem until he eventually found himself chasing his tail and weeping utterly lost. The panic kitten just wanted to find someone he knew.
Midnightpath's mind danced around new ideas as she heard her leader call up five kits who were to be apprenticed. She recalled when she had been apprenticed, when she had met her mentor… Was Hazelstripe here? Green eyes shifted over her clanmates in search of the molly who she had looked up to, even with that rough exterior of hers–unfortunately she couldn't find her.
Anywho. Was Leapingpaw around? She hadn't spent a whole lot of time with her apprentice. Suppose she hadn't been herself recently… She wanted to fix that, yes, she very much did.

The bengal was late to this meeting, but in all honesty it was a miracle he showed up at all. For all he never tended to care about his appearance, some lingering lecturing from Rosa kept him keeping his pelt, the only 'perfect' part of him, spick and span. It also was to make sure he didnt bring shame to his Mama, so cats didnt talk about how she raised such a untidy young tom.
Now that she was..... Now that..... Well, it mattered less now.
Pap- .... Well, honestly the title didnt feel suitable, maybe it couldve been, wouldve been once but now it just felt... Wrong. He, he was he, and little else to Bleedingpaw. He'd told them, all the siblings earlier but it just didnt feel real for all Bleedingpaw knew it to be true. He felt lost, destroyed utterly and so so alone and.....
What does he even do now?
For now he was just.... Lost. Bleedingpaw was lost, fur bedraggled and ruined, eyes red and just, limp as he looked up at Dawnstar, desperate for any direction at all.

Troublesome? She wasn't troublesome! She just wanted up!! Venomkit's ecstatic face twisted with confusion at the comment her Mother hissed. Grip weakening, it was actually
quite fortunate when Dawnstar swooped her up and relieved the gruesome effort she'd made to attempt to climb up the stump, yet still a hiss of protest left her maws as she was yoinked from the activity she had put so much strenght into achieving. Why couldn't she sit with her Mammy?!
Squirming defiantly as the toygress attempted to escape her mother's strong jaws, the attempt was fruitless. Even as she kicked out and swung wildly she was still handed over to a large, one eyed she cat. Shaking out her pelt, she stared at her Mammy, irked by her telling off. "Hmph! I ain't a pest" A mix between a growl and a whine rumbled in her throat. Mammy would one day see she wasn't annoying at all! She just wanted to be the best and spend time with her! That was all!
The irritation was evident on the way the kitten held herself now; slouched posture, a sour froen and fidgeting restlessly at Mistlewhisker's paws - a stark contrast to her proud and bouncy gait The urge to attempt her stunt again was overwhelming. Venomkit was fairly aware that if she tried it again harsher punishment would be enforced though...ugh, this was the worst. Her sulking was soon cut short as Adderkit appeared and tapped her paw.
And the same chesire grin appeared on her face. Addy thought she was cool!!! "Heheh, I'll be real sneaky next time!" Cackling she attempted to playfully headbut her sister's shoulder "Soon I'll be able to scale up it faster than you can think! I'll teach you after I manage it!" Venom didn't plan on letting her sister out do her in climbing yet she would be thrilled to share a fraction of her coolness with her(which was still a lot in her opinion.)
Amber-green hues snapped to her Mother once more as she called up some random kits for...ceremonies? What were those? And why was her Mammy giving them attention?! A small snarl escaped her fangs as she glowered at the gathering kittens. Did her Mammy love them more because they were getting ceremonies??? Her and her llittermates were way more awesome! Venomkit would ensure they'd get their ceremonies no matter what!!!
Giving one last glare at the to be ceremony getters, the toygress inclined her head so high to look up at Mistlewhisker, the back of her head gently pressed against the dark molly's chest. "Misssstleee, we want our ceremonies!!!" The loud demand was made on behalf of all her siblings. Of course the braided tabby was unaware who could give them what they wanted but if Mammy left her and Addy with her then she must be cool! Venom already liked her!

The over-the-top excited tom spotted MagpiePaw, causing an immediate light in his eyes and he scrambled over to her. He booped his nose on her shoulder (which was oddly lower than he remembered—did she shrink or did he grow?) as a greeting. “Magpie! I think this may be it!” it really would be a shame if he wasn’t made a warrior right now. Actually…a dream-crushing shame. It was so rare to see his with a grin on his face, a light in his eyes. This is the proudest he’d been in moons. The youngest he’s ever acted as well…other than when he actually was a kit.
SpiderPaw flicked his gaze up to DawnStar. So much power…he fidgeted in anticipation. She didn’t have to say much…just make him a warrior like that.

She, Her\Apprentice\12 moons\Shadowclan
"One man falls, another takes his place, he chases the wind until the end of his days."
It was honestly pretty hard to hide the embarrassment that tingled in her two toned pelt. She remembered how deadbeat her current mentor was and gritted her teeth at the thought of her ceremony being delayed. Ugh, how stupid! How agonizing!!! She didn't deserve this! What could she have possibly done to make all this work against her somehow? She had a moon left, barely, before her whole reputation was banished to the depths of shame.
As though snapping out of a daze, the she-cat jutted upwards and blinked, turning her face to see Spiderpaw. She nearly shrunk back at the sight of them, but her maw did that stupid STUPID thing were she smiled but couldn't stop smiling. She was happy to see this odd cat. Well, who was she to push away friends/admires? Starclan knew that she certainly needed those, y'know, friends. ...Maybe more if Spiderpaw doesn't find somecat infinitely better than her, a possibility that made Magpiepaw feel like disappearing...
And he'd gotten taller! Stars above! ITS NOT FAIRR. "Y' mean the day y' get permission to claw somecats guts out?" Magpiepaw laughed, her eyes bright and her tone teasing though they lingered on a hinge of truth. "Yeah, HAHA! Congratulations." She was proud of him and Bristlethorn (the cat that may have some unknown sickness) for actually getting off their tails and doing as they should. With Spiderpaw becoming a warrior, Magpiepaw could probably make him drag her around camp to actually get that territory tour she'd been missing for moons now. Hehehe, she was so smart!
She watched with an encouraging gaze as Spiderpaw hesitantly stepped forward. She noticed how he didn't move away from her completely and she couldn't squash the stupid grin that danced across her maw. "Oh, you're such a wimp! Get up there, stupid!" Magpiepaw ordered, swatting at his tail as though he was an annoying insect. "You're becoming a warrior, you can sit with me later, can't you?"

How?! The she-cat's expression grew bitter as she noticed the one covered in mud. She was pretty sure that it was Houndkit. Why he was covered in mud she couldn't say or care to know, she just knew it would take forever to clean from his long coat. So so long....ugh! The next things she had to cover with her children were the dos and don'ts. She couldn't even yowl at her kits since she hadn't told them not to play in the mud or not climb the Grimpeak.
Then there was Weepingkit who she was starting to think needed a buddy at all times. The poor thing looked utterly lost, but as he wasn't in danger Dawnstar left him be. If he didn't calm himself down she'd check on him after she was done with the meeting. Or hope that her more responsible kits came and got him. Venomkit was yowling about something, since she left her with Mistlewhisker it was the deputy problem to deal with for now. She'd talk to the troublemaker later about her behavior during meetings.
"Midnightkit, Lightningkit, and Hollowkit," Dawnstar noted they were missing Thrushkit but wasn't waiting any longer, "from this day until you receive your warrior names, you will be known as Midnightpaw, Lightningpaw, and Hollowpaw." She halted to stare at Tigerkit.
"Since ShadowClan already has an apprentice named Tigerpaw, Tigerkit, from this day until you receive your warrior name, you'll be known as Lionpaw. Your mentor will be Cloverpool. Hawkbite, you'll mentor Hollowpaw. Darkleaf you are Lightningpaw's mentor. Redleaf you're Midnightpaw's mentor." She told them. The cats were given a moment to meet, greet, and move out of the way because it was time for the next ceremonies.
"I, Dawnstar, leader of ShadowClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the warriors' way and I commend them to you as a warrior in their turn. Spiderpaw, Bitternpaw, and Flashpaw, do you promise to protect and serve this Clan, even at the cost of your lives?" #shcmeeting

Okay, yes, he had heard of the other apprentice. At least his name was still fierce and all, and there was a mighty grin on his face. But- then the mentors. Did some other whiny brat get the cool Hawk guy and he didn't? The apprentice would hide his displeasure for now as he looked for his new, hopefully reliable mentor.
