[Moonraven]

Leopardsong jerked herself out of her doze and jolted to attention at the sound of her name. The forever arched her back as she swiftly bounced out of her nest and over to the entrance where one of WindClan's senior warriors, Dapplebreeze, sat with a yowling kit.

The forever queen offered older she-cat a swift, respectful dip of her head and then looked over at the kit that was yowling his head off. Thankfully he was distracted by another kit who offered to play a game with him. From the sounds of it, Leopardsong was going to have her paws full here.

"Thanks, Dapplebreeze." Leopardsong meowed, sarcasm heavy in her tone as she gave the kits causing trouble a stern glare. "Duskkit, Snowkit, quit wasting prey. Honorable warriors do not waste or throw prey around. You'll never be apprentices if Twilightstar hears this. You'll never be allow out of camp, or go to the gatherings, or learn how to hunt or fighting if you can't learn respect." Leopardsong growled to the kits, not really like how Fawnfox was handling the situation at all.

"Is there any else I need to know?" Leopardsong asked, glancing at Dapplebreeze but her gaze didn't leave the mischievous kittens for long.

Fawnfox was in fear. "Naughty kits" she meowed as she collected her kits. She looked over at the others. "Kits I told you no before" she dipped her head towards Leopardsong. "Please forgive me they are very crazy kits" she curled her tail around her kits. and mumbled towards them. "Do you want to be an apprentice ever?" she asked her kits.

TinyKit looked down "Snowkit if i wanted too i would.... But i think i'm gonna be a good kit for now on... i don't like being in trouble..." he said solemnly

Rabbitkit watched Snowkit and Duskkit's craziness and took a step back from them. The sandy tom liked fun just as much as the next kit but he didn't want to be a troublemaker. Not after, Quailheart took him in. He wanted to be good for her and his new siblings.

With a huff the little tom decided he didn't want to play in their games and that he would start his own. How abouuuuuut- The Windclan kit looked around for any playmates with a wag of his stubby tail,

"Does any cat wanna play tag- oooh! Maybe hide n' seek?" Rabbitkit bounced in place, excited for any games he would soon play!

A small, half amused, half apologetic smile crossed the former queen's lips as her whiskers twitched, unable to envy Leopardsong's current task. It would be difficult to reign this one in, especially considering how boisterous he insisted on being still. It was clear that Twilightstar's words had not settled in quite yet until... Oh? What was this? Well, that was certainly an interesting change in tune. Dapplebreeze couldn't quite tell if Tinykit felt the sting of what he'd done in earnest at last or if he simply did not enjoy finally having his mischief catch up to him. With what she had witnessed thus far, she would be willing to bet on the latter, but still... any chance for a change, for some empathy and growth on behalf of this one during his punishment, so he could become an apprentice worthy of the clan was a change worth having as far as she was concerned. Deciding to not speak much of the young kit's conversation with his denmate, however, she turned her attention towards the resident queen, wrapping her bushy tail around dainty paws before speaking.

"As per the leader's rulings, these will be kept in the nursery a moon longer as kits, to prove that they have learned their lesson and are ready to become apprentices. They were... quite intent on not only disregarding orders but endangering themselves and others on a fun, hunting expedition, regardless of what was told to them by myself or Twilightstar. They are to not leave the nursery during this time without permission or supervision due to the nature of their mischief. Being caught outside without either of these should be brought up to Twilightstar, as she will be keeping an eye on them. Now..."

Turning to the young troublemaker as Fawnfox took the others' attention, Dapplebreeze granted him a soft, maternal smile as she continued, "As for you... I do know how lonesome and rather boring it can be to be stuck in these walls sometimes. Especially the older one gets. If Leopardsong would so permit and you have been well behaved, I would be delighted to come around whenever I come back from my duties and we can share a rabbit. Talk about your day. Perhaps even come up with some fun, safe ways to spend the time before it's time to sleep. What do you say, my dear?"

Rabbitkit backed up from the eccentric she-cat a bit as he thought over what she said. As much as he is pretty bored, was it worth getting involved with such trouble makers. He could always ask his siblings to play instead but….Rabbitkit thumped his back paw on the floor before turning to Snowkit,

“Okay! But no cheating or ‘m gonna tell Quailheart!” Rabbitkit announced loudly and he hopped up excitedly up. The kit’s brown furred paws kicked up some of the nests’ materials, the little Tom huffed again and fixed it. Then Rabbitkit bounded up to Snowkit and Duskkit with a wag of his tail and a smile,

“Last kit to the nursery entry is the hunter!” Rabbitkit exclaimed, already running away as fast as he could. Rabbitkit’s odd legs gave him the advantage in a speed race! Quailheart says that they aren’t weird and that he’s simply a special cat, but he hasn’t met another cat like himself yet. The sandy-brown tom wasn’t hurt by the difference because it just mean that nobody else will be as quick as him!
