A small smile flickered at the edge of Ravenshade's face, despite the scars that pulled it into a permanent grimace. She tossed the ball at him, her shortened tail wagging gently back and forth. He'll be okay.

She laughed softly, then bounced sideways and tossed the ball back softly. His little face melted away her hard, cold shell, showing the soft cat she was underneath.
"Come and get me!" Some fluff floated through the air, shining bight in a patch of sunlight that just barely shone through a small gap in the roof of the den.

She allowed it to hit her, and dramatically fell down with a gasp.

Shadowkit's eyes went wide with surprise before lighting up again. He giggled and stumbled over. "Yeah! The mighty Shadowkit!"

She chuckled and pawed at him, picking up leaf debris and sprinkling it over his fur.

"Yuck!" Shadowkit mewed, falling on his back to clean himself. He stuck his paw in his mouth to properly clean inbetween his toes. (Idk why but I love it when kittens stick their paws in their mouth and nom on them)

She chuckled at him, then licked a piece of the leaf out of his fur.
"You're pretty darn cute." She said, messing with him.
